Generally, I have been happy with the providers, however, the administrative and back office staff leaves a lot to be desired. In terms of billing, I have a card on file to automatically bill all of my visits and those of my children, including the membership fee. After each visit, the front desk person asked whether I want the visit billed to my card on file. I alway say yes. However, the practice on their end has been inconsistent. Sometimes they charge the card and sometime they don't. When they don't, you don't find out for months until after a statement is sent in the mail or you get a call from a collection agency for a $20 co-pay that the person at the front desk forgot to charge with your card on file that they asked you about when you left the visit. Getting this fixed is a nightmare. And calling the billing department has been useless. Unfortunately, Amazon's take over has made this problem worse.

First off, the location isn’t easy to find if you haven’t been here before, and even though I came late (around closing time after searching for a while) and sitting on hold because it’s hard to actually get through to anyone on the phone even if you are a member, they were not helpful and dismissive when I came in for labs that I absolutely needed before international travel. I know it would have been fast to get the labs done but they still were short with me and basically said too bad. So much for being a member.

My experience getting bloodwork done here recently was awful. After repeated attempts to find a vein, the practitioner jabbed the needle in and moved it aggressively around my arm causing searing pain. My arm has been in pain and heavily bruised for going on 10 days. Have never had an experience like this anywhere. Really not an appropriate or acceptable level of care and would not recommend.

They advertise wait times of 10 minutes for labs but I waited 45 minutes while people that came after me got to go ahead of me. This would be understandable if I wasn’t paying a membership fee to get a higher level of quality.

This is a review specifically for this office. Worse than useless, they'll ask things like do you need to see an MD or nurse practitioner, a make or female identifying doctor, but not basic things like "do you want me to deliver quality medical care or do the bare minimum with such an attitude you, the patient, will never trust an MD isn't giving purposefully worse treatment absent knowing their clinic(al) director personally. I don't care if the issue was the doctor, the person out front, or the phone line I used to call because I noticed so many unfixed security issues on the website it made me need to take a sedative.

First and foremost competent & trustworthy doctors and staff. Timely and efficient service. Been with this awesome full service medical group since 2012. Even when navigating early in the pandemic, the train was slower and realignments were needed and made the wheels never came off the train and the train never left the tracks! Many perks — I don’t have to remember any of my routine testing out side of the group like my colonoscopy. I’m a senior so medication management is important for me - they do that too.. One medical actually “manages” all my health care and healthcare needs. They understand not everyone is Tech Savvy - they some how manage to get it done -whereas other healthcare providers most often have the “too bad figure it out (yourself) Importantly it is relatively cheap compared to other boutique medical providers. It’s very much affordable for a person such as myself — a retiree of modest mean can pay with a degree of comfort. I can’t say enough about why you too should have One Medical.

At first I was very pleased but then found out they incorrectly billed my military insurance for a visit, then waited 10 months to send a bill for it. This meant that I was outside the window and denied the ability to appeal or have them fix the coding on the bill, and then refused to even knock down the rate to what my insurance would have paid. Really great way to treat the military community by charging them 40% more than what you accept from Tricare and making us shoulder the cost due to staff incompetence. So if you want to pay $180 out of pocket for a 15 min telehealth appointment that’s 100% covered by insurance when billed properly, this is the place for you. Otherwise stay away.

One Medical's parent company recently went public on the Nasdaq (their stock declined 40%+ since February) and boy have things changed... for the worst. Appointment times are shorter, One Medical jams patient into as many slots as possible, no flexibility for appointments, and you will wait a month to see a doctor (at best) and often will have to wait 2+ months. Worst yet, there appears to be a TON of turnover in physicians. Many of their providers have been out of medical school only a few years, while others seem to jump ship after putting in a few years at this practice. My former primary care physician left One Medical and went somewhere else - this doc told me how frustrating this place was as a provider. Bottom Line: A few years ago, the $199/year was definitely worth it. Since the company went public, it is clear they are just like any other assembly line-style provider.... with a nicer website and an app. Look below at which posts One Medical replies to: If it's negative and has legitimate concerns, there's no response. If it's positive, they respond. That should be a warning signal right there.

Find a primary care doctor that can help you on a more personal level. With no warning at all, One Medical blocked me from renewing a prescription for a medication that must be taken daily and that I am paying for without help from my insurance. Honestly unacceptable.

Normally I don't leave reviews, but due to my most recent interaction with One Medical, I feel frustrated and obligated to warn others. If you happened to have been a patient at one medical before they decided to implement an "annual fee" then you will be lucky enough to experience what it feels like to be treated as a second class citizen. They rarely answer their phones (I have spent over 90 mins in one week just on hold) when you call in to schedule an appointment its virtually impossible when you select the "appointments" option, but if you select the "membership" option your call is almost immediately answered. I called once to enquire about a prescription, and after a frustrating wait on the line, I finally spoke to someone who was about to connect me to a doctor, but then informed me "the doctor can't take your call because you don't have a membership" then offered me an in person appointment DURING covid, TWO days later!!! Literally the definition of delaying patient care, and seeing a patient in person when it's absolutely not necessary. Something that literally could have been solved in 2 moments over the phone. I joined a new telehealth service, spoke with a new physician and obtained a new script, all while I was still on hold with One Medical. I submitted a complaint to the managing team, and I was told someone would follow up with me in a few days. It has been over 4 weeks and no one has connected me. If you want to feel valued, and treated with dignity avoid this place. They clearly value a measly $200 over patient care. Not surprised today reading the recent news about One Medical..

I have a $900 bill from one medical and shouldn't. Please resubmit my claim to my insurance. I had insurance in Oct, but it continued with Cobra that month. I had the staff at one Medical confirm that insurance was active and covered my visit before visiting (i confirmed with my insurance it was active in Oct, possibly wasn't through the system when you summited the claim). Also, I tried to call one medical and was hung up on twice. After I was on hold, the system automatically disconnected me. Then I got in touch with a person and after telling him I had billing issues he hung up on me. It seems like there is no service where there are billing issues or problems. Really unacceptable.

Smart, kind doctors and helpful staff. I love going here-- it actually makes visiting the doctor a positive experience! Dr. Dinerman is amazing. She takes the time to listen to your concerns, presents you with a menu of options coupled with reasoning for why, and helps you come up with the best care plan together. She is also incredibly responsive via the One Medical app where you can message her or staff if you need something or have a question. She has even messaged or called me on a Sunday evening when I was really sick with the flu. She is an incredible doctor and One Medical is the most professional doctors offices I have ever been to. Also, you can get a flu shot within two mins via a drive-through without leaving your car! I continue to be so impressed by this place. Keep being awesome!!

It is good for routine, non urgent care only. Maybe it's the COVID, but I could not get a human being on the phone even when I tried several times and waited for a long time. I liked the Dr. but have not been able to hear back from that Dr.
