My theory is that I am an Orange Theory convert. As with any studio, the staff and coaches can make all the difference and it's 10/10 at the Union Market location. They are personable, helpful and supportive. The clientele is also all ages and skill levels. It's an Orange Theory so you know what you're getting with the rowers, treads and floors. It's easy to follow once you get the hang of it. Rates fluctuate throughout the year but around ~$200/month + tax. It's on the higher end for OT but it's one of their premiere studios and offers free towel service. Price is competitive with other local gyms and cheaper than F45 (and much better experience).

Been a member at this location since it opened. Staff and coaches are always friendly. I really enjoy coming to class.

I wished I had the opportunity to checkout this OTF and glad I didn't. I submitted an online inquiry because I was interested in joining a new gym. I am dissatisfied with the outreach I received several times in the day non stop through email, calling, and texting. Upon answering the calls, there was strange silence on the other end before a live person as if it was a rotary system. The sales marketing is too pushy for me and their online website isn't clear either. I canceled my inquiry via text and email and still received on going calls, texts, and emails days later. It has been a true annoyance. On the last call, I told them I am not interested and as I began to say something else, I got hung up on. The customer service experience even before being a customer was enough for me to go elsewhere.

I have been going to Orangetheory for a few months and really enjoy it! The staff are super friendly and helpful. I am very new to fitness so my instructor (I usually have the same person each class) always makes sure to check in on me and help me with my form or answer any questions. Although expensive, I am someone who is easily intimidated and deterred by "regular" gyms so this is worth it me.

I hadn't been to this studio before and went to a weekday lunch time workout with Jamie. Before we even strapped into the rowers, a girl walked in and told a guy "I'm late bc of work but I couldn't have missed our workout." I immediately knew it was a close knit group in class that day, little did I know they were close close like cheering when there's 15 sec left of an all out close! But I really appreciated the encouragement, so much so that I was actually going all out and my sweaty girl traits showed big time. OTF works for me partially because of others' energy during the workouts so I left this particular class feeling gooodt! Before we started another tread set, I asked one of the cheerleaders about towels and they kindly showed me where they were and assured me I had time to go get one. Thank you OTF Union Market for having towels for the sweaty sweaty girls in class! I'd go to this studio over another close one simply for towels and comradery.

I’ve been an otf member for almost two years. I’ve been to a few studios in DC, this location is my favorite. Thank you.

Super clean. Well designed. One of the best layouts I’ve seen in some of the over 40+ studios I’ve seen in traveling. I like the separation of the treads and floor (like a T design). Still feels communal like all studios just not everything shoved into a square and compacted. Restrooms and showers on both sides of the entrance hall. Towel service provided. Nice front entrance area. This studio is definitely one of the larger ones. Feels a bit more upscale.Special shout-out to Chloe (6:00 AM class) as she is an excellent coach. Encouraging throughout that shows she enjoys what she does. Excellent music selection.Only reason I didn’t give this place five stars is they haven’t gone through the equipment refresh but probably due to logistical issues and the waiting list that many studios have dealt with.Highly recommended if you are nearby the Union Station area. NOMA has a feel that it will be the next the place to be given all the development in the area while still holding onto some of the historical charm.

I joined OTF late last year after canceling my membership about 3 years ago. My biggest issue in the past with OTF has been the format, since it's hard for coaches to make sure everyone is doing the exercises correctly, etc. But I have been pleasantly surprised by most coaches from the Union Market location. Everyone from the front desk staff to most of the coaches have been wonderful, friendly, and helpful. I love Kennady, Abby, and Abi. They all take the time to make sure everyone is doing the exercises correctly, encourage people throughout the workout, and are just real pros. The reason I am giving this particular location four stars instead of five stars is due to a new coach who has been given more and more evening classes who is just not good. I was in his first class (ever) and he did not know what he was doing - at one point he thought we all needed to be on the floor at the same time, which caused confusion in the room. He is very nice, but needs a lot more training. I am likely going to cancel my membership if he continues to teach most of the evening classes during the week since I can't take morning classes due to my work schedule, and this limits my options of taking classes with more experienced coaches who do know what they are doing and as a result I get a better, more challenging workout.

The location of this OTF is perfect! As NoMa and the surrounding area grows it's great to see a fun gym too! The trainers are all awesome and so encouraging. Everyone at the front desk is always so sweet and helpful too!

Went for only one class so far. Can't rate based on that experience. It was well maintained, instructor was very friendly and helpful, cleaned after every class.

The front desk people are too pushy when it comes to selling a membership. You also have to buy one of their heart rate monitors (~$100).Having a gym membership in the city can be very expensive and is very much an investment at these prices. I felt like I was being pressured into spending tons of money before I could fully process how the "free" trial class was. After leaving without a membership I was called every other day for weeks to see if I would sign up for a membership or do another class (at a reduced cost). There are other workout studios in the area that I would recommend trying out instead. Most of them are not pushed as much by corporate to sell sell sell.

Great location with free parking in Union Market. This afternoon I took an amazing class lead by Sharné. Her knowledge of the workouts, energy, and charisma was infectious and motivated the class. Even though this studio isn’t in my neighborhood, I’ll definitely be making the trek over to work out with her again.
