Impossible to get a hold of someone. My husband filled out the long form on website weeks ago, called, no response. Scheduled a virtual call, cancelled. Rescheduled to have someone call him, nothing. We just wanted to enroll our sweet dog into their program. A huge waste of time and disrespectful.

Lousy cut for a wire hair dachshund; outrageously expensive; if you don't have reasonable computer skills, don't do business with these guys as they are not interested in talking with you by phone; and finally rude, unhelpful, and unfriendly hired help who snapped at me for being 5 minutes early. Cherry on top was my dog came home with an ear infection. Never again!

I highly recommend the Puppy Head Start program at Patrick's Pet Care. The trainers are fantastic and really know how to get the best out of your pup. I couldn't be happier with my experience at this puppy training program. Friends of mine have commented how impressed they were that my puppy is a well-behaved and socialized dog, and I have the trainers to thank for that. If you're looking for a top-quality puppy training program, look no further than Patrick's Pet Care.

Quite expensive but worth the care and attention they give to your pet and to the pet parent

PPC is outstanding -- every single one of their employees truly cares about what they are doing and provides excellent care for their pup clients and human guardians. We've been working with Dakota and Joe for training walks and private training since a few weeks after adopting our beagle-mix Buddy, and they've been such an enormous help. Buddy has fear-based aggression, and Dakota has shown him so much kindness and patience, working so diligently to build trust and help Buddy become less fearful and more confident. The difference in Buddy's behavior is amazing, and I feel so grateful to know that he has a support system in the folks at PPC. They've been such tremendous resources and cheerleaders for us (new dog parents). We're clients of PPC for life!

I have waited a month to write my review so it would not be as influenced by how I was treated. I am writing for those who really want care for their beloved pet. While I am certain that my dog would have loved being there, my behavior did not measure up to what the owner wanted to be bothered with. First of all, I am 75 and not very good with computer tasks. That may have been the first irritant, and then was my concern as I could not access the day my Standard Poodle spent there led to several misunderstandings: some mine and some theirs. I will not go over their failures to make things clear, but rather tell you what I did so you can be sure not to upset them and have your dog not permitted to go there. 1.I could not reach them by phone so I left a message that with my concerns not addressed, I could only give them a "3" so far. Do not threaten them! 2.Your dog does get to potty in a special area during the day. 3. If you are sent pictures of your dog on her first day, scroll over to the video so you can see your dog and hear the assessment from the trainer. The first page only has still pictures. 4.If you go to the page with the web camera, sometimes during the day it is not on. I mistakenly thought it was not working that day. 5.After her first day, I made an appointment for her to return. I woke up with a migraine headache and could not drive. It does not matter if you call as soon as they open so another dog on the wait list can go. You pay the day's fee if you don't call a day ahead of time. Do not question that rule, which I tried to clarify. After that conversation, my dog was "wait listed" until they finally told me, much to my sadness, my dog was banned. (or I was) We owned a very successful small business and were much sought after as Patrick's no doubt is. Sometimes our customers were elderly and got mixed up, but we still tried to work with all of them. My dog is my only companion and she needs to have more stimulation and the best of care. I am sorry for her that I couldn't negotiate the system without alienating Patrick. page is only still pictures/

We are so happy with the service and attention that our Shih Tzu/Mini Poodle mix Rocco has been receiving that if I could give Patrick's 6 stars I would. Their attention to detail and general concern for every dog in their care is amazing from Ian with Mini Dog Mondays to Emma with small dog Montessori. Their reports are frankly more informative than anything I ever received for my kids and given our dog's separation anxiety, knowing exactly how Rocco is doing is very helpful. In addition, the webcams give us the option to check on Rocco throughout the day. Great organization.

1 Year Anniversary PPC Montessori School Mom and Pup Appreciation Post! From my first meeting with Emma (Montessori School and Grooming General Manager) to discuss goals for Kori, initial assessment and her acceptance to Montessori School, I knew PPC was special. Kori dancing into the doors of PPC is only enhanced by the report cards, pictures and videos I receive at the end of the day. In April of 2022 when Kori started at PPC, Emma has been Kori's favorite person. Emma's transition from teacher to general manager has been seamless. She is always an e-mail or phone call away. Most recently, Emma assisted me with choosing a better nylon leash for Kori and educated me on the pitfalls of retractable leashes. Bradley, Kori's new teacher, stepped in wonderfully and greets Kori with a "Hey Baby!" each time I drop her off. I would remiss if I didn't also mention the groomers at Brookland. The fear free grooming technique used is so loving and thoughtful and Kori always is so calm and cute after her session. Thank you PPC! I appreciate you more than you know as you have equipped me with the tools to be the best dog mom to my Sweet Girl Kori. Please see attached photo of how Kori feels about Emma and PPC as a whole.

We love the Patrick's Pet Care team! We have a anxious and fearful 2.5 yo bull terrier mix. The PPC team is always patient and accommodating with her- whether they are coming into our home for a walk, she goes to the PPC Brookland facility for fear-free grooming, or brings her best doggy friend with her to feel more comfortable during Enrichment 1:1 days! More than that, the PPC team is always excited to see her and take care of her as if she is their own. We wouldn't use anyone else and are so appreciative of the entire team! The webcams and report cards with pictures and video are also the best! We love to check in on her and see that she is so relaxed and having fun or snuggling with team members throughout the day!

Posy absolutely loves Mini Mondays at Patrick's. As soon as we get anywhere near the building, she starts whining with excitement, and once through the front door, she doesn't look back at me once. Ian and Emma are such wonderful trainers with her and I can tell she's getting a ton of enrichment playing with other dogs and doing activities all day. I've already noticed a huge improvement in her sharing abilities and recall and can't recommend the Mini Mondays Montessori program highly enough for small dogs! It is the highlight of her week and I love seeing her so excited.

I don’t have enough good to say about Patrick’s Pet Care. Our small dog loves everyone there—human and dog—and the staff engage warmly, playfully, and attentively with her and all of the dogs. Our dog has been through the Day Care 101 program and now regularly attends Doggie Montessori School; she also goes to Patrick’s for grooming and some additional training. I can’t imagine sending our dog anywhere else—Patrick’s is just wonderful.

Joe has been amazing in helping me work with my reactive dog. Daycare is enjoyable and extremely well curated.

We love having Patrick’s Pet Care in the neighborhood – and our pup loves it, too. Our dog was a bit shy and uneasy around some of the other dogs when she first started attending daycare. Now she can’t wait to go and pulls towards the building whenever we’re out on a walk nearby. Emma and Nikita are wonderful with the dogs and have a done a tremendous job building our pup’s confidence through play, structured activities, and one-on-one time. It turns out our dog really likes puzzles, and they are always creating new challenges for her. We highly recommend Patrick’s Pet Care Dog Montessori – and added bonus that you can watch your pup play on the webcams!

Baloo just completed Patrick's Puppy Head Start Part One and Part Two with Nikita, and I can't say enough good things about it. The first day I dropped him off, he was shaking and clinging to me. The second time, and every time after that, he ran right in. He clearly loves going and absolutely adores Nikita.I don't know what we would have done without them, we were very overwhelmed when we enrolled Baloo in their program. It really gave us a structured plan to work on with him, and it's been amazing to see him improve from week to week. Nikita is a puppy whisperer. She helped us with every problematic behavior he had, and he's grown into a really good boy. There are still a few things we need to work on with him, so I won't say we've 100% solved everything....but he is miles ahead of most other dogs his age that I meet. He's polite, he comes when he's called (even in distracted environment ). He's good about checking in. He also has all his important commands down. They introduced it during Head Start, and we reinforced it at home. I find that with new commands, the hardest part is getting it to click, which Patrick's does amazingly. Concepts that take me multiple days to teach the puppy, Nikita manages to do in a few short hours. They've helped him become socialized to grooming, weird noises and different surfaces, all important in a city! He's also learned excellent play behavior with other dogs. Nikita does such a great job of monitoring the puppies and reinforcing positive, healthy behavior.I also loved the photos and report cards at the end of the day, so did Baloo. When Baloo hears Nikita's voice, he drops whatever he's doing to come over and look for her.Overall, such a positive experience. I find that you really get out of the program what you put into it! The more you work with the puppy out of hours and reach out to the instructors for help, the more progress you see. Highly recommend it!
