Pet Peeps took care of my cat Andy during my 2 years in DC and I could not have asked for better care. Gus and Mavid were amazing and I could tell Andy really enjoyed Mavid’s visits. Pet Peeps was able to accommodate Andy during a diabetic episode and I felt totally confident he was in safe hands. Gus and his team also were able to accommodate me on several occasions with last minute adjustments due to travel. Additionally, I appreciated the friendly service, excellent communication and the easy to use website. Andy and I would 100% recommend Pet Peeps!

We had a terrible experience using Pet Peeps. I would not advise anyone to rely on Gus if their pet has any sort of medical need. Not only was he unprofessional throughout the screening process, but he completely dropped the ball on taking care of our scared senior cat who needs insulin twice a day. He called on the first visit screaming at us that we lied about our cat being an easy job. We’ve had pet sitters come without issue in the past, and we obviously cannot predict if our cat is going to hide in the closet. He was so dramatic, and our downstairs neighbors had to come up with him to help. It’s truly embarrassing that he claims he’s been running a pet sitting business for decades and needs a neighbor to show him how to befriend a petrified senior cat. While Gus wasn’t able to board my cat. He offered me several near by places and alternatives which was really nice since I am new to the area! Thanks and I’ll be in touch when you do offer those services!

Very friendly and responsive. Would recommend. Our puppy is pretty shy but Gus is a pro and has no problems taking care of her.

Gus and Mavid are great and have been taking care of my cat Nico for several years now. Gus is always friendly and has in numerous instances gone above and beyond to accommodate last-minute changes in my travel schedule. I know my cat is in good hands with them and would recommend them.

The owner, Gus, was able to find availability for my two cats on extremely short notice for the holiday season. My sitter was prompt and conscientious, providing me with photos and texts upon her visits. I was very pleased with the service. Thanks to Pet Peeps for taking good care of my cats!

DO NOT SKIP THIS REVIEW: As a pet parent - communication is vital to me.I spoke with Gus on the phone, he assisted me with questions, concerns, and thoughts I had. We spoke on the phone, we even had a meeting to make this process easier.It all worked out. I felt respected and heard, and most important I felt my pets were cared for. I never had pets before, so I am always concerned if they're okay - and with Gus I had that peace of mind. So look no further, prices are excellent, care is exceptional, and Gus is awesome.Alonso B.

Thank you Pet Peeps for cat sitting during the Thanksgiving holiday. We had a sitter visit for four days, and each day we got updates with photos. It was easy to set up and the sitters are reliable and responsive. I highly recommend Pet Peeps.

I requested pet sitting for my pet rats in College Park, and was contacted right away. While sadly the business doesn't serve College Park, Gus was so kind and helpful with helping me find places that would serve my area and provide great care. Would give 5 stars for how friendly Gus was, but one star off because you can't find on their website that they don't serve the DC suburbs, only DC proper.

I just got off the phone with Pet Peeps after inquiring about my reactive German Shepherd and had the most incredible conversation. Gus walked me through options and helped me address all my needs regarding my not so sweet lady. I have a lot of confidence in his recommendation and opinions. For the past three years I have done A LOT for my dog, driven many miles, jumped through many hoops, and talked many folk's ears off. However in the 15 minute conversation I had with Mr. Elfving, I have never felt more heard, or understood. For the first time in 3 years I felt "helped" and I genuinely appreciate it. He did not meet my dog but I'm attaching a photo because she's cute.

Gus and petpeeps have looked after our cats for several years. They’ve always been responsive and friendly, even when I gave them extremely short notice sometimes (sorry!). The care has been top notch and nothing short of professional. 11/10 would recommend in a heartbeat to anyone looking for pet care!

We used Pet Peeps to walk our dog when we first adopted him in early 2018. Gus was very kind and we had a great first meeting with him before starting our walks -- you could tell he loves all pets and that he is passionate about his business. While we only used dog walking from Pet Peeps for a short time (we figured out our dog had separation anxiety and needed full time daycare to be his happiest), I would certainly recommend Gus and his team!

We worked with pet peeps for over two years. They took care of our cat when we would go out of town for a few days (every few months or so). The sitters always took photos, and clearly spent time with our cat. Her water, food dish, and litter were always nice and clean, and our cat was very chilled out when we returned, a good sign she was snuggled and spoiled while we were gone! It's been great working with Gus and team, and we would keep doing so if we weren't moving away. Thanks to these big hearted folks for all you've done for us and our fluffy madam.

Gus and his amazing staff have been petsitting our three cats for over four years now, taking care of all of their food, water, and cat litter needs- as well as making time to play and interact with them during their visits. Signing up for the service was easy- after a quick house visit with Gus, the owner, we exchanged keys, and from that point on, were easily able to book an appointment on their website. In addition, once the appointment was set and we were away from our home, Gus and our assigned sitters were extremely responsive to any questions or concerns we had, and were more than happy to send us daily photos and videos of our cats or to accommodate last minute requests or detailed instructions. Whether we were away from our home for a 1 day getaway or a 10 day vacation, it was extremely comforting to know that our cats were well cared for, interacted with, and and well taken care of. I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for an affordable, responsive, and well-organized pet sitter!
