Me and my family came here two days in a row. The first day we came for lunch and the sandwiches were honestly really good, but the service was not great, but we just figured it’s because of the lunch rush. The second day, we went for breakfast so there was only two other people in there, and we ordered the bacon egg and cheese sandwiches but they gave us both sausage egg and cheese and we didn’t realize it until we got back home. While we were in the restaurant, we were pretty much getting harassed by a lady who seemed to be homeless because we couldn’t pay for her food. She was getting very close to our baby and saying very weird things to him, and the entire time the staff just didn’t even care. They didn’t apologize or try to help us when the lady began yelling at us. It was just a horrible and unsafe experience and we will definitely not be back.

Not my favorite sub. But it wasn't bad neither. My husband did enjoy his sub. Service was fast. Staff was informative about toppings they didn't have before we ordered. That's always a plus.

Today(3/3/24) makes it my second time going to Pot Belly on 1200 New Hampshire St, NW Washington. Yesterday(3/2/24) was my first time.Yesterday when I walked in, I went to the register to order and the girl had her back turned to the register while on her phone.I said excuse me a few times and she didn’t hear me because she had her earphones in.It took her coworker to point me out for the register girl to notice I was there. She didn’t even apologize and seemed annoyed that I stopped her from being lazy and actually making her work.The sandwich was a 6/10 on taste.Today, I went in again thinking to give them another chance and when I went to the register, the same coworker who pointed me out to the girl who was on the phone yesterday was there just talking to a friend it seems. The friend noticed me and they just continued talking while I’m waiting to have my order taken.A new lady comes out the back to take my order. I told her I’d like an avocados in my sandwich.When I get to work and begin eating my sandwich, there’s no damn avocados in it!! Just lettuce, tomato, 1 tiny mushroom, and hot sauce!!!I’m done with these lazy useless shop.

We grabbed a quick lunch here during our trip to DC and were thoroughly impressed. The prices were very reasonable and upon signing up for their "rewards" program we got an 2 for 1 offer on sandwiches and after purchasing got another coupon for a free sandwich and one for a free cookie! A great inexpensive option if you are in the DC area - we'll definitely come back.

The sandwiches here are very delicious and they have a nice selection to pick from too. A1 service and their prices are very reasonable.

Wow what a delightful little place. Had the original Italian sub. Very tasty. Service was quick and friendly. Helpful staff. Definitely coming back before leaving DC. Come check it out. You will like it also.

The absolutely the worst potbelly I have ever been too.. customer service was horrible.. the girl put tuna on the bread that was thinner than the sliced pickles. Then got an attitude when i said that i no longer wanted the sandwich. She then turned around mumbled something unger her breathe and ask me to leave store promptly. 100% do not recommend this location

Service was outstanding and friendly !The sandwich was not bad, not the world's greatest but good .....The location was clean and decor on par for a sandwich shop !I would stop here again ...Join their perks program, it's a really good one !
