It’s a cute place but the drinks and dim sum are very average.

Amazing location for private events. Staff was very professional and provided great service. We enjoyed the ability to have a customized menu with themed drink names and a great array of food options including passed appetizers and buffet style serving. Our guests loved the atmosphere and vibe of the venue. Thank you Bar Chinois for helping us have a successful event!

Great happy hour — $1 dumplings (chicken, vegetable, or pork) and half priced cocktails. The Peak Bloom Strawberry gin cocktail was excellent. Make a reservation if you want a table or there is standing room near the barDietary restrictions: vegetarian and gluten free options are limited but labeled on menu

Recommend the canto fried rice and fried chive dumpling. Understandably, it is a bar in a small space, so it was loud, but maybe too loud. Couldn't really have a conversation across the

We were a party of 9. The waiter missed my order because most of us ordered the same thing. He was unapologetic and accused someone at my table of eating my meal. I will not come back to this restaurant. The waiter did put an order in for my meal at our request. It took a very long time and everyone was done eating. I asked that the meal be packed to go. I also spoke to a gentleman who I think was the manager. He reinterated that someone at our table got and ate my meal (ridiculous). He was satisfied that they were preparing (what they considered) another meal that was forthcoming. We could not understand the accusation at all. A simple review of our orders could have cleared up any confusion but there was no interest in clearing anything up; they seemed convinced that we were scamming them or something (smh).Sadly, although I got the noodles and chicken, I could not eat it. I threw it out. It was a very unpleasant ending to a beautiful weekend with family in town for my niece's wedding in DC.Total bill: $238.00

Went to this bar on my own last weekend and it was so great! Happy hour is an excellent deal, with top notch food and cocktails. Raoul and Ian took great care of me and all the staff were awesome. Highly recommend!

Definitely one of the best bottomless brunches I’ve been too!My boyfriend was visiting so I wanted to show him a different part of DC.We had a fantastic time, it was also his first time meeting my friends. So definitely a great atmosphere to mingle.I definitely will be back specially because I love Asian foods and Bottomless Brunch. Best combination in my opinion!

Saw this place on TikTok and was eager to try it. Food lacked flavor and server was extremely rude. Took ages to get my check and pay and it made me late to the Wizards game. Skip this place, so many better restaurants in the area.

Always a great time at this spot. The food is consistently delicious. I strongly suggest the Red Chilli Wontons, Garlic Noodles and Humble Cobbler. The few times I've been there I sat at the bar and received excellent service by Frank. Best quality happy hour in DC.

Sigh. I wish I could give better rating but here goes.I did like the industrial look of the restaurant. Our seats were very comfortable. The wait staff was fabulous and very responsive to refills on water and our hot tea. Food itself was good-ish, but alas, my friend had a hair in the dumplings she ordered. She chose to not make a big deal out of it and carefully inspected and ate the rest. It was a chilly day and the tea we ordered was good enough but sadly nothing worth noting. In addition to what we ordered we had hoped there was soup in the offing as well. They didn't have soup. Also, we both wanted a cup of coffee and were told the machine was broken. Sadly, just not a place I'll return to. I really do appreciate the great service but underwhelmed with the food experience.
