I wish they have more single cans for tourists. Price appears to be higher than other places due to convenient location.
Service is as good as other liquor stores.

While I am not expecting top of the line service or industry leading prices, I am expecting basic business courtesy. After paying for two bottles of wine, an associate bagged them and I left the store. Less than one block later, the bottom of the bag ripped along the seam, breaking a bottle of wine. Upon my return to Press Liquors, with the broken bottle of wine less than two minutes later, the gentlemen informed me that once it leaves the store, it is not their problem. There was nothing that he could do to make it right. When you package your product for transport, there is a reasonable assumption that the packaging used is adequate for what is being packed. You skimping on bag cost, then putting two bottles of wine in a bag that does not support two bottles of wine (though it should and you ought to speak to your supplier), is not the customers fault. It is abhorrent that this is how you do business. Further, after purchasing a third bottle of wine, I asked if they could dispose of the broken bottle, and I was informed that it was mine and I’d have to find a trash can outside on the street. Horrible service all around. It’s a shame that this is the state of your business. You are not doing right by your customers. Additionally, your cashiers didn’t even check IDs. So, your store policies seem to only be in place when beneficial to you.

Small and expensive, but the only place for beer and liquor for blocks. Expect to pay 40-50 percent more than normal price.

Convenience: 5*Prices: 3.5*Whilst staying at J.W. Marriott (literally next door), stopped by here for wine for the room. Good selection at OK prices.

Be careful this place is next to a hotel so they upcharge everything. Just paid $80 for a bottle of champagne that retails for $45. And they don’t put prices on anything.

If you just want to get some alcohol at a reasonable price, this is not the place. Some of their prices were DOUBLE what I would expect to pay and the guy behind the counter was not only clueless about my Scotch questions, he tried to defend charging a premium for Laphroaig "Select" even after I explained how it is thier lower tier (non age statement) product ?

Decent selection of whiskey but the prices are much higher than stores even a couple blocks away. Staff has always been nice though so, if you can't find what you're looking for anywhere else and you're willing to spend extra (sometimes double), you may find it here.

Nice people and location, but very pricey. Washington Wine & Spirit (a 5 min walk) is MUCH cheaper. We compared 3 items. Same champagne was $10 more and two bourbons were $40 and $30 more at Press Liquors.
