I lived here for 2 years and sad to say my experience changed over time. When I first moved into the building, we had security walking the premises at night then suddenly I stopped seeing them. Shortly after that someone attempted a carjacking in our garage. Concierge doesn’t come in until 4pm so packages are left on the floor and outside the building because you need a key fob to access the building. My groceries I had delivered were stolen twice and they claimed they couldn’t see who did it on camera and blamed it on HOMELESS people coming into the building. I witnessed a domestic violence dispute in the lobby which left a woman beaten and I had to call the cops but if concierge was there it could have been avoided. On top of all this, my dishwasher would leak water all over my floor and maintenance said it was because the dishwashers was installed wrong. I would not recommend this place.

Nov 20th a little bit before 11:30 concierge was quite rude and not welcoming elder black lady with grey hair I was doing a delivery for GoPuff and me being a former bozzuto employee I know that’s not how we talk to people like they less if I was a white man she wouldn’t have spoke so sharp and rude like that no big deal but more of a learning lesson

I easily had the best tour I’ve ever had in my life today with Mia. She was extremely knowledgeable about the building and made sure she answered everyone single question my sister and I had. She was spot on about everything! The building is beautiful and the vibrant community is an added bonus!

I moved in about a month ago and everything has been EXCEPTIONALLY ON POINT! The building is very secure(which really matters in DC), and responses for maintenance are handled almost immediately. The metro is close by and so is Giant. I don’t have to drive much living here and that’s such a god send! Coda has really gone above and beyond and I look forward to living here for atleast a few years if this good service keeps going ?

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY -- THEY WILL SQUEEZE ANY PENNY THEY CAN OUT OF YOU. When constructing the building/unit, they used non-waterproof flooring, which is very odd. When signing the lease, they did not mention to us that the flooring is not waterproof, so me being a clean-floor freak, simply mopping cause their laminate wood flooring to warp very easily. I used the floors for their regular intended use. I know other current & former tenants are having this issue. They are in the process of replacing the non-waterproof flooring with waterproof flooring. The property management is trying to charge me $2,500 for the warped flooring -- essentially trying to make me pay for their screw up. In addition, they are threatening to send to collections and refusing to discuss the issue with me.Also, the elevators are out ALL THE TIME. There were times where both elevators were out and I was unable to get my old dog down to use the bathroom. The units are constructed poorly and with cheap products, so photograph everything before you move in because they will try to charge you for it.

Not enough open yet. Will be amazing when other food/vendors are added. Definitely a great location/vibe. Truly enjoyed Alegria

My sister and I loved viewing Coda and The Chase at Bryant Street. Both apartments are beautiful and very clean. Jonathan took us through our tour and answered any questions that we had. He also made sure to follow up with us right away, which we really appreciated. Thank you so much for being so kind and friendly!

It really bothers me that there is not a concierge at CODA between 7 am and 7 pm on weekdays, and yet management tells prospective residents and often current residents that this position is 24/7. I have a dog that I need walked while I am at work during the weekdays, but I cannot hire anyone on Rover due to lack of building access and no concierge to get them securely into and out of the building. Similarly, our FOBs don't allow us to access other residents' floors with the elevator, which makes it impossible to make friends on other floors or ask neighbors for help taking my dog out during the day. Though the management cites the FOB access as a "security concern," this doesn't make any sense since residents can still access one another's floors using the stairs. In effect, these policies make it nearly impossible for me to find help with my dog during the workdays amd have had a significantly negative impact on her and my quality of life and resident experience in the building. I also cannot drop her off at District Dogs because she is too young to meet their eligibility requirements and their rates are unaffordable for me.In addition, the previous pedestrian lane we had to safely walk through the newly repainted back parking lot is now gone, meaning there is no safe path for me to walk our dogs through the back lot to the dog park by Chase. Traffic in the back lot had also markedly increased with Kraken and Bryant Street Market both opening. Why didn't the building fight to keep a pedestrian walkway or crosswalk through the large parking lot to ensure residents could safely get from CODA to the Alamo, Metrobar, Bryant Street market, metro and Chase building? It feels like whoever made this decision didn't care or think about us.

I absolutely love the team working here - Solomon is always there to greet me and even get the door for me when my hands are full! There’s always lots of fun events, it feels really safe, and it’s very quiet (I don’t hear neighbors in my apartment). Location is amazing since it’s so close to the metro and the bike path. It’s my second re-sign of my lease and I don’t ever want to leave!

The Chase at Bryant street has been a wonderful place to live at. I lived here for a year and loved the management, the amenities, and the dog park that is two step from the apt complex. It was so easy to get to work as the chase sits next to the red line. It was also convenient to have metro bar for karaoke nights/trivia nights so close and the Alamo drafthouse for a movie or just food and drinks! Jonathan, Latoya, & Jarret are wonderful people to interact on a regular basis. They are on top of their A game and if you have an issue they are the ones to contact to get the issue resolved. Jonathan was the guy who gave me a tour of the place. He was knowledgeable about the place, polite, and answered all my questions. He made the process easy to follow. The chase also had wonderful work spaces to work during the day it rent for an event. I held a formal for my fellowship class at the chase and everyone enjoyed it! I also love when the chase does their events like paint your own flower pot, coffee and bagels, or wine Wednesday where I can meet other residents. My absolute favorite is when they have coffee trucks or food trucks stop by the apt complex. Seriously, a wonderful place to live!

This was a nice change of pace and I highly recommend it. Especially for really long movies. Food was no more expensive than most restaurants and my teenager said those were the best chicken tenders they ever had. The beer was good. The salads were fresh. The cookies were good. The popcorn was good. Definitely worth trying.
