Monique at the Saatva DC location is truly a gem.
We walked in the store with no true sense of what we wanted or “needed”… but Monique jumped right into action and guided us seamlessly through what we expected to be a daunting task. We didn’t make a purchase right on the spot (they don’t have Apple Pay setup) but we will go back this week (with credit card in hand) to finalize the order.
Thank you Monique!

Jay was very helpful common knowledgeable, and patient with us as we as we bounce back and forth trying to make a decision between two mattresses. He is a super friendly and personable gentleman and it was an absolute pleasure to work with him as we figured out the perfect mattress for us!

Jay was the best! Made us feel welcome immediately even while busy. I Had purchased a mattress and wasn’t super thrilled with it, came back to exchange for a firmer model and the process was seamless. Polite, clean and professional! Everything you would want with a business. Thanks to Jay and the team! Delivery with the first mattress was great! I’m sure the exchange delivery will be just as good. Go see Jay and the team, they’ll take care of you.

Redeait was amazing!
I find mattress shopping an odd but necessary experience. After buying a hybrid mattress online from reviews and ratings, I found myself in the market for another one being very displeased by the one virtually chose. Redeait made me very comfortable when shopping. I didn't feel rushed or odd while testing out the beds on the showroom floor. I ended up picking the Classic, and I'm so happy with my decision a week in. Ordering and the delivery was seamless.
Thank you, Redeait!!!!!

I purchased a Saatva RX mattress a week ago on line. The website stated their delivery service will reach out so you can schedule your delivery date and time. Loadstar delivery sent an email on Tuesday, Sept. 3rd stating they could deliver on Wednesday. My response was I’m not available and would need to schedule on Saturday. Their response was, they don’t deliver on Saturdays in my area. This was never disclosed online, or after the order, reaching out to the representative to confirm they received the order. I am a teacher and my contract time begins at 7:30 am-and does not end until 4:30pm in the afternoon. They refused to work with me in any way, shape,
or form. The stated I would need to reach out and discuss this with a representative, or I could cancel my order. This is not how to run a successful business. I am now having second thoughts with going through with the sale. If the delivery company will not work with you, will
Saatva stand by their product and promised ten year warranty?

Company started off great in all aspects, but that has changed exponentially in the last few years. Starting with the delivery time frame they quote 9-18 days despite most orders whether mattress or bedding taking about 18-45 business days. They promise white glove delivery but I’ve had an issue with the delivery team saying they don’t offer white glove delivery and laid it against the wall on the first floor and left.
The bed frame order shipping date kept getting pushed back further and further until the order was finally canceled after waiting 60days total despite being promised a specific delivery date because it was needed for intended family coming into town.
The mattress needed to be warranty in less than a year due to sagging, or damage to the mattress. Which is a headache in itself as Saatva claims to have a life time warranty but only the first two years are really beneficial. After that you’re paying for a replacement mattress that shouldn’t even be defective this soon.
When you call the company you either can’t get through and have to keep calling back or leave a voicemail and pray someone gets back to you.
Which they won’t as they are like a call center so they’re just about always busy or the representatives who try to assist you need a managers approval or assistance & then the managers always seem to be unavailable as well.
The semi best option is returning the mattress but they’ve made that a hassle as well they tell me returning only takes 7-10 days but it’s been 4 weeks and I had to keep reaching out to ask when someone would pick it up and they would say they’re going to notify them, like were they not notified the first time.
A friend of mine ordered Saatva’s Solaire because it was cheaper than sleep numbers & needed to return her mattress because it kept losing air, despite it already taking 6weeks to be delivered(they said the Solaire takes longer to make than the other mattresses) which is understandable.
But about 2 weeks in, the left side wouldn’t inflate, she called Saatva who had her do trouble shooting that didn’t work so they told her they’d send parts and a tech out.
The tech took forever to get out to her so she was sleeping on the couch for about 4 additional weeks. At this point she just retuned the mattress. They told her she had to reach the delivery team herself to schedule the pickup date and gave her the delivery teams number. So they couldn’t even bother to schedule her return like they said they would. When she questioned it she was told because they outsource the delivery team they’re not allowed to contact them directly.
Another friend of my exchanged her mattress a 3 different due to her personal preference, but each time she exchanged she was supposed to be refunded a price difference that she never received and had to reach out to the company and found out they forgot to refund her. Forgetting to refund someone’s money not once but three times, seems very sketchy.
Overall in the last few years they gotten better at placing orders, and worse at getting you your order and providing assistance.

I stopped by the DC store today to check out mattresses. The showroom smells like a sickly sweet perfume bomb went off that follows you everywhere and the bathroom is full of glade and toxic cleaners. Overpowering is an understatement. People wanting to buy organic or healthier mattresses are trying to get away from this stuff. It is clearly a managerial decision because it's a giant air freshener blower installed on the wall.
I'm a little hesitant to buy a "healthy" mattress from a company that is basically pumping VOCs into your showroom and bathrooms. It makes me think your products are likely greenwashed because no one with even a basic understanding of harmful chemicals would have a showroom smell like this.
The staff is extremely responsive and kind. I feel terrible for them that they have to breathe that stuff in every day.
I visited Naturepedic (their mattresses are EWG certified) the other day and it's a much more pleasant shopping experience because it's fragrance free. They take health seriously.
You should be running air purifiers so the air smells clean and put some Branch Basics in the bathroom.

Stopped by the DC store last weekend. I had been somewhat overwhelmed by the options available but Jay took the time to ensure that I was able to narrow my choices and try them both out. Placed an order there and then. No hard sell, just useful information on pros and cons. Subsequently decided to add to the order and this was handled by Jay over the phone in a seamless fashion. A real pleasure to work with Jay.

Nice showroom with a friendly informative staff. The difficulty is parking in the area. It almost ruins the visit.

Wow what a great experience visiting the Saatva store. We were not sure what a “viewing room” for a mattress would be. Wow it was great. The ambience was super relaxing and the no pressure or upselling was refreshing and unexpected. Our salesman, Jay, was super chill and helped us find the right mattress. Great job Jay! Can’t wait until our mattress gets delivered!

Truly a life changing purchase!! I'm so happy with my Saatva Loom and Leaf purchase. Jay at the DC location was great, and very accommodating. He answered all my questions and made sure everything was extra satisfactory. I feel like this bed will add years to my life and I have never been more excited to go to sleep! I can't say enough of how happy I am in buying this mattress. You cannot go wrong in choosing Saatva!! I will definitely be back soon for more sleeping products as well! Thank you again Jay and Saatva
