As grocery stores it's pretty simple to get around. Customer service was great ! Everyone was pretty nice. It's DC so prices compared to what I'm used to were pretty high. However, it helps to become a member for coupons/discounts.

Worst store to shop at! We are visiting from South Fl and just wanted to buy water 4/$5 deal to take back to our hotel. The cashier said I have to sign up to get deal. I don’t want to create an account to a store that’s not located in my state. Please have some type of system for VISITORS! I had to ask another guest to use his phone number so I can get the water for my family.

The employee or the person in charge of the pharmacy refused to give me the medicine my doctor gave me, saying 'You are not qualified to take it'. I don't think pharmacists can say, 'You can't take this'. That's just plain rubbish!!! I should have stuck with Cvs.

Only beer store anywhere near the mall and Union Statiion... Great prices for D.C. for cerveza. $5 for a 4 pack!!!! 11 stars for sure!!!!

The Safeway is well managed safe snd clean. Always plenty of stock in the aisles , and the employees are willing to help you .The Deli is good fresh food and good people running it.

Deli was low on options but it is Dec 31. I believe this store is understaffed or they had a lot of callins? I walked over from the Westin hotel not far just watch out for crazy drivers.
