I’ve shopped at this Safeway four times now, and every visit has been the same issue—old, low-quality fruits and vegetables. It’s frustrating to see wilted greens, bruised fruit, and produce that looks like it’s past its prime. For a grocery store, fresh produce should be a priority, but that doesn’t seem to be the case here. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back unless they improve their quality.

My Mom loves Safeway but I am now catching on. This location has been around since I was in high school. It continues to be one of the best locations in DC.
I recently discovered their fresh deserts end cap. I absolutely love their fresh cheesecake selections.

This spot has great managers. Helpful customer service. Well stocked and good atmosphere for a fun shopping experience. Up to date on Store product brands. Has Starbucks store in-store.

It’s ok. Decent prices. Produce quality is mediocre to poor at times. Occasional great deals on expiring meat if you’re a bargain hunter. Wine selection is surprisingly good with some discounts. Heavy security which I appreciate.

The store was nice, a little busy. Most of the stock was in place and available. The staff I felt with in the store and the pharmacy were very nice and helpful. However, the older woman who checked me out seem short and a bit rude. She seemed Impatient with the customer in front of me. I had an issue while checking out. I felt like she was irritated when I asked for help. When I had a problem with my card, she snapped at me telling me my card wouldn't work. Next time, il avoid her line .
