Salt & Sundry is a home + lifestyle boutique featuring an eclectic mix of goods from more than 200 independent makers and designers, both local and from across the globe. More than 80% of the goods we stock are from women-owned businesses. Founder Amanda McClements opened Salt & Sundry’s Union Market location in 2012 to share her passion for quality goods and entertaining. We now have two DC locations and a robust online shop.
This is the best spot for gifts! I went in without a clear idea of what I wanted, but with specific parameters, and the team could not have been nicer or more helpful in helping me find the most appropriate item! This is my go-to for gifts now.

Taking walk on 14th street we were drawn to this boutique that refers to itself as home + lifestyle boutique featuring a mix of goods from independent makers and designers, both local and from across the globe. It was fascinating to see so many products locally and around the world and we spend an hour easy wandering around.

Such an adorable shop on 14th street. The items change out often and there’s always some treasures that will tempt you. The owner is stellar, too! Support a local businesswoman and find a few gifts for friends (or yourself) here!
