My wife and I didn’t have the best experience at this location.
We were uncomfortable it felt like we were being watched as if we were doing something wrong.
We had just come from a nice date night across the street and were both well dressed, simply trying to shop together.
Unfortunately, the atmosphere made us feel rushed, and we’d recommend visiting a different store for a more positive experience.

Lisa is amazing. She helped me find what I needed, but it was her kindness that made my day. I noticed that the other staff were friendly and helpful, and that the store was clean and well-stocked. Bravo!👏

Absolutely abysmal customer service! I scheduled a make up tutorial for my 14 yr old daughter for her dance. She was excited after meeting the make up artist. After an hour in the store bc of their system not working… They finally scheduled me manually.They assured me that our appointment was set. Phone call later that day said we were canceled. After 45 minutes on the phone and several layers of management… They told me their system is often incorrect, and there are no available appointments. My daughter was so disappointed.

I have been into this Sephora twice in the past few weeks and each time I was helped by Grace. She was very knowledgeable about the products and answered any questions I had (I had A LOT of questions as I am new to all of the new sticks, and creams, and sprays that I wanted to try on this cosmetics journey). Grace also did a fantastic job of not trying to peddle something useless and expensive, felt like I was speaking to someone who listened to the look I wanted to achieve and pivoted accordingly. And she made sure to check in on me while I shopped and confirmed my selections when I had trouble making decisions.
Again, Grace is excellent, and the store is small but very clean and well stocked.

I went in on 1/12/25 to refresh my makeup counter. I haven’t been to Sephora since Covid so many of my beloved products are no longer available. However, Cheyenne is amazing! Not only is she super friendly, she gives great recommendations! Her customer service skills and attention to detail was outstanding. She got me right and I’ll definitely be back soon. I hope she gets all the recognition and commission she deserves! PS the Makeup For Ever brown lip pencil is fantastic!

On Thursday, December 26th, I visited Sephora with the intention of finding a specific product from The Ordinary. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite spending at least 15 minutes in the store, I received no assistance. What made matters worse was that I wasn't even greeted when I walked in.
After standing there for around 15 minutes, I finally got assistance and was able to find out which product would work best. It’s just so crazy to me that customer service has declined this much. This isn't an isolated incident, as I experienced similar poor service at two different locations: one in Virginia and this one in DC.
I hope Sephora takes immediate steps to improve their customer service, ensuring that every customer feels acknowledged and valued.

I love this location! All the staff here is fantastic, Perla and her team keep me coming to this store instead of going to the one we have all the way in Annapolis. Which is closer to home. I will make a pit stop at this location because I know they will always set me up with the right products. They don’t try to push sales, they to make sure you feel your best and look it while being conscientious of budget or skill set with makeup. All MD/DC friends I highly recommend you go here for all your makeup, and skincare needs! I love this store!!!!
