The shops are great, but traffic in and out can be a nightmare.

The stores are good, but getting out of this shopping plaza is a nightmare. I don’t go to this plaza on weekends or even weekdays after 2pm because of how backed up the traffic gets. The main problem is there’s one main exit (but several entrances), so cars back up to the point you can’t even get into the shopping center from some parts. I’d come to this shopping area so much more if even rudimentary traffic engineering had taken place.

My car was hit by another driver who did not stop at one of the stop signs. I now have to do the leg work of proving to my insurance company, who is at fault. My plan is to acquire video footage from the surveillance camera located on a lamp pole (near the brick wall) across from "QUICKWAY" restaurant. I have been told I need to reach out to the owner of the parking lot, I assume it is the property owner. I know this is a longshot but does someone happen to know who owns "The Shops at Dakota Crossings"? And a piece of advice to those who frequent "The Shops" be careful b/c most of the people driving in that parking lot are not paying attention OR are on their phones, speeding to get no further than in front of you, and if they hit your car being careless, they will deny it and the insurance companies will view the claim as "no fault" leaving you to pay for your repairs and the other driver to pay for theirs, unless you have something more (video) to prove otherwise. Oh and I was just told that passengers ARE NOT witness b/c they are biased (ie., they're in your vehicle and will side with you). My rating is a reflection of what I experienced in "The Shops at Dakota Crossings" parking lot.

Please be aware that the parking lot outside Lowe's can be quite crowded, especially when the mall is busy. Some drivers may not follow proper etiquette, such as allowing others to merge or form orderly lines. It's important to drive cautiously in this area to avoid potential accidents.

Traffic is awful. I suspect the shopping center and its ingress & egress were designed by people who've never driven, never gone shopping, never been around humans. It's easy enough to get into the shopping center but then there's the long nightmare of trying to leave.
