Very helpful and friendly manager. One-time visit became an opportunity to meet and visit with some interesting and hospitable local patrons. Felt at home.

Fantastic spot. A welcoming staff and great humidor. The best cigar lounge in Washington. Glad it is in my neighborhood.

Since we cigar aficionados are a "select few", these places are hard to find...and quickly become etched in our memories if good. While my regular haunts are here in Chicago, it was a delight to find the Signature Cigar Store & Lounge on Wisconsin Avenue in Northwest Washington, DC. Their walk-in Humidor selection is great, their storefront lounge is pleasantly furnished & laid out, and it appears they have a rear outdoor garden (although I did not get out there...) They also have complimentary plastic cups for those who bring in their own beverages:) Enjoy!

Found this place looking for a lounge to burn one and kill time. I had just left brunch and needed to relax. It's a very nice place. Looks small from the outside. But when you step inside, it's huge. Mice leather chairs. A couple big TVs. The humidor wasn't bad but not a lot of choices. I did however find a JC Newman Maximus. No booze sold. But there are sodas and water sold. Not sure if you can bring booze in. But you can bring food. All in all, I'd go there again. But bring my own smokes.

No one in the shop was wearing a facemask. Not even the guy behind the counter.

Beware, these guys are JUST about the money. I get that it's a business but read on. So this is a little embarrassing given that I was taken and I'm going to share a little more personal information that I'm comfortable with. Initially I didn't review but the anger over the scenario has built and I think about other possibly newbs walking into this place looking for higher end cigars and I think it's necessary to warn them. I think I dealt with the owner but I think who ever it was might remember the scenario. I walk into this store on the day of and prior to a new job interview after being unemployed for A LONG time. If you've been there you know how it is and how it can effect your head. The guy there seems friendly enough and as we talk and I share these personal details with him after finding the last Opus X Angel's Share in one of their humidors. Now I'm no novice to cigars and I know Opus X prices well enough but this was a line that I had no information on fair value. I realize that prices for these vary and that some jack them up to ridiculous levels but this was beyond the pale. Unfortunately I no longer own a cell phone believe it or not so no research to be done at the shop as I would normally do in the interest of due diligence. There are a lot of Opus X lines that command some serious dollars but this come to find out later is not one of them. So I ask the guy, who remember knows I haven't been working in a long time and I'm all but broke, about the price. He has the gall to tell me that it is regularly $70 bucks but he'll give it to me for $49 before tax. Even that price is a super stretch for me but thinking positive thoughts I convince myself that finding the last one (and one I've never tried) must be an omen for the new job opportunity and pay up. I'm hopeful and see myself smoking this beauty after the job offer comes through. Now like I said I've since found out that even the highest of Opus thieving online businesses out there charge a maximum of $39.95 for the cigar and that when released they are easily found for $22-25. As I am writing this you can get a 3 pack tin for $69.95 (yes, available and real time). So they got my cash like some unscrupulous car repair service but they have completely alienated me from future business and I can say when I'm flush I buy A LOT of cigars. I'm not trying to boost but I have 3,600 cigars right now and when the money is there I'm always buying. I'm fairly involved in cigar communities and online stuff and I think I need to share this story there as well. This is made even worse by my personal situation at the time, who kicks someone like that when they are down? Full story told, I didn't get the job. Good bye to you guys and please chock on my $50. Shame on you and I hope the guy I dealt with recalls me though I have my doubts he will feel any remorse. There is enough greedy bad blood in the cigar business without the brick and mortars doing this. People wonder why business is filtering to online and this kind of thing is why people don't want to support brick and mortar shops which I always try to do even when there are a few more dollars involved. You know what the right thing to do was? Probably not so let me suggest that not only should you have sold this at/close to MSRP but even gone beyond and picked up one of your favorite sticks and thrown it in the bag as a gesture. You would have had my loyalty forever with that small gesture that ultimately wouldn't have cost you anything.
