Steadfast Supply is the most hipster thing in the very yuppie neighborhood of Navy Yard. It's in an industrial space right across the street from Blue Jacket and next to Philz Coffee.The concept behind Steadfast Supply is great! It's a collection of LOCAL designers and creatives under one roof selling a variety of goods from baby clothes to tables to artisan chocolate (From DC's Harper Macaw).The space is open and clean and the back corner has a variety of beautifully designed tables for anyone to sit at and bum their free wifi. The manager told us, "My home is your home."Based on the look of this place, you'd imagine the price tags are super expensive. In some cases, yes. A bar of chocolate is $12. However, they had designer t-shirts for $25 and a quality men's jacket for $85. Not bad!If you're in the area, definitely stop by! It's the beginning of SE turning hipster.

When I travel, I love to shop local. I found Steadfast Supply on Yelp prior to a recent trip to DC. I stopped in a cold evening and loved exploring this store. All sorts of gifts and fun stuff--for yourself and for others! If you want a good souvenir, this is a great spot to get it, plus it's in a fun area (I grabbed dinner and ice cream at two other businesses nearby). The employees were friendly, and there was good music on. Definitely recommend this great spot!

Tucked away in Navy Yard, this passionately run and beautifully styled gift shop has something for everybody for any occasion. Sourced from local and National finds wide and far, you can tell that store owner Virginia put time and care for her customers to find something unique for that special moment. You are bound to discover items ranging from the aesthetically pleasing to Laugh-out-loud funny. This stylistic lady has a cool keen eye for design with refined taste who has created a neighborly friendly space. We’ve come here for scented candles, plants, gifts, tarot cards, sunglasses, leather goods, beauty essentials, bathroom musts and more. Always welcoming, always a pleasant surprise.

Cute little shop to pick up house hood item time to time.I got cone incense the other day and it’s great. I wish they were selling some options of this incense holders.Very dog friendly.

Just accept the fact that you're going to buy something when you go in here. They have anything and everything. I would say this is a great place for gifts or to treat yourself to a little something. I left with a journal, keychain and tote bag. Being an 80s baby that grew up in NY with Keith Haring I couldn't leave without that bag! The staff was very friendly and the selection was impressive. I believe this is the same store that reached out to my bakery to take part in their summer market, but I plan on moving from DC this summer. This company seems like they're doing great things! I'll be back.
