Nicest gentleman I’ve encountered at a Subway restaurant – May 18, 2025 around noon. He was courteous, friendly, professional, and made one heck of a a sub! I got the number 20 (my favorite) Elite Bacon Chicken Ranch with Honey mustard lol. He was spot on. Also, the bathroom was one of the cleanest in DC. Thank you for an awesome experience 😊. My wife and I have been enjoying food from Subway for 40 years and counting!

Horrible sandwich. Somehow worse than my campus subway which is very concerning. Subway as a franchise also sucks, but what makes this establishment worse than others is they exclude the meal deal. Why would anyone go to this low tier subway and spent $8+ on an awful sandwich.

If I could give this place a 0… I would. The guy working today was not even on the premises, left the store unattended. Did not wash his hands, I had to ask him, and did not change gloves until I asked him. The food was left open and this is not acceptable. I hope that the food does not make me sick. I was only here for my short break!!!

I had a whole two hours for lunch today, and I couldn't find anything in the immediate area that was too appealing. As I was walking around searching, I finally came across this place and decided I would just eat here since they already have several sandwiches that I know and like. They have quite a few new sandwiches, but ultimately I decided to get the Ultimate BMT that had a couple of types of meats like pepperoni, salami, and ham. It also included double the amount of provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions by default. I requested that they delete the onions and instead add jalapeno peppers, black olives, and pickles. I also requested a small fountain drink. I ate my lunch here in the restaurant, and it was a welcome relief to be sitting down inside with nice air conditioning. The sub was delicious and filling!

This is a convenient Subway and great for mobile orders. The employees here aren't too shabby, they see me here regularly and although they're friendly, I don't 100% vibe with them, but they're cool nonetheless.

My review is based on 6 visits - and only 1 sub was good. I got a ham and cheese footling with 5 slices of ham & 5 half slices of cheese- a ton of lettuce and mayo that I was eating drippy lettuce on a big bun. The steak and cheese was not edible and 1 out of the Spicy Italian had enough meat- they are using the amount of meat for a 6 inch on a 12" sub. Spreading out 4 slices of salami/ 4 slices of pepperoni and 4 half pieces of cheese on a footling witn a ton of lettuce is a total rip off for $12.99. They used to have the meat slices pre measured with wax paper- and I went to Cleveland Park location and the same girl that made an awful sub was working there as well. I am done with subway. I have attached the Amount of meat that should be on each sub- lucky I asked for ham as well so I got 4 slices of that on the 12"- plus 4 slices of salami and 4 slices of pepperoni and 4 half slices of cheese.

Have been ordering via the app. They apparently can't read their own menu I ordered the pepperoni flatizza with veggies and they sent me a piece of flat bread with sauce and veggies on it no meat no cheese. I'm done ordering from them. They can't seem to get anything right. I have even reminded them in the notes to please make sure they didn't forget the meat and cheese. And they still forgot it!!! It looks like a toddler made it.

The owner I believe (short guy with glasses shoes who is the only person that I've ever seen they're working), Hass to be one of the rudest, most unprofessional person that I have ever met. During the month of August, there are coupons for foot-long's for half price. I would go into the store and do that promotion while sitting there, and I do not know if that made him mad or something because one day I had ordered him a foot-long from home and went down to pick it up at 7 o'clock. When I got there around 7:10 he said it was not ready and he did not receive a ticket but I received an email stating that the order went through to his address and the pick up time would be 7:20pm. So that time came and gone and said he still hasn't received anything and he kept pointing to the sky or somewhere stating that you need to go to another subway , didn't understand that nor did he explain what that meant, and to call subway, which I believed he meant the HQ somewhere and that It's not his problem. I stated that the money was taken from my account and on the receipt of the email. It was your store address so you receive the money and you try to keep pointing the air trying to say technically he did not receive the money, so maybe it was the IT department phone or something I still do not know. So after a couple days of trying to contact Subway with no success, I went back to the store and was upset and explain to him the situation, and that there would be further consequences (not threatening), because I had to prove that you took the money, and I did not receive any good. When you do the online order as I did in the store, there's an alarm of some type that tells you there is a order placed online. I believe he heard that order and did not make it because I was not there and proceeded to delete it, and to give me the runaround and thought, maybe I just wouldn't care. Ultimately he met, gave me the sandwich because he knew he was in the wrong and the guy is just an incredible jerk. Also, at the end, he proceeded to imply that he did not care that he gave me the food because it's not a big deal to him like he was rich or something, which was totally unprofessional. He proceeded to state that I am no longer allowed in the store, as if I were to ever think about coming to that liars store.

They tried to serve me a sandwich on a piece of molded flatbread. I'm currently reporting these people to the health department! I'm sick of these restaraunt franchise owners not giving a fuqq about us. Will NEVER eat here EVER again.

The coupon I "tried" to use was the buy one footlong and one fountain drink. And get one footlong for free. Which is a great deal and marketing promotion tactic. It worked. I came in to do that. I got a chicken terriyka and one meatball sub for my boss. Well. IT DID NOT WORK!!! When trying to scan the coupon the system would not register the coupon. Then server(An old middle eastern/asia/ white hair/ probably mid60-70s/ 5'3 around that - Told me that I had used the coupon and why system was not working. I explain to the server that is not possible since I just ripped out the coupon from the paper in front of my boss to get him the meatball sub. I hold myself to a very high stand. As my industry requires honor, trust, and honesty. What happened next is NOT OKAY!!! He called me a lair. Not just once but twice. I tried to get managers number. THey both would not give me the managers number. other young lady. I am going back until I get this managers number. Subway you lost a loyal customer today. You can fix this by figuring out a better way to deal with the disposal and usage of these coupons..becasue this has been the worst experience. The same thing happened to me yesterday at your Chevy Chase DC location. But it was a server problem. I am wonder this is what happened again(today) and your server then called me a lair which completely false statement. You are going to lose more customers. And your marketing promotion is going to back fire on you. Again. @SUBWAYSUCK. FIx this. because no one calls me a lair and thinks they can get way with you. I am on you Subway. I am going to call you HQ and I am going to go to that store until I get the managers number.
