We purchased multiple pairs of sunglasses here a couple of weeks ago. We later decided that we didn’t want one of the pairs and tried to return them. The attendant initially offered an exchange for another pair. I told him I wasn’t interested and requested that he process the return. He spent about the next 5 minutes staring intently at the lenses and then announced he couldn’t accept the return because there was a scratch on the lens. That would be fair except there was no such scratch - I looked and looked, consulted others, and we all agreed that the lens are in perfect condition. If you are sure you will never return your sunglasses or require anything from this store again, then shop away. Otherwise, though, I would stay clear.

We were there as tourist last week and we buy 4 sunglasses, then the lady in charge give us the sunglasses with no individual brand protective box or case -We toll her that when we buy sunglasses in that kind of store they always include the brand protective box. She just answer that they don’t have any of those in that store (strange). We buy two Versace and two Oakley sunglasses and she doesn’t even give us any protection piece for the sunglasses. That just make us think… Probably they have an “alternative” business selling those boxes

What a garbage store and staff. If I could go anywhere else I would but sadly, this is the only location near me where I could get a pair of screws to fix my sunglasses. I went into the store early June and the staff were okay but clearly annoyed that all I was worth was a $5 sale. I didn't know at the time, but the person who helped me was the manager. I was told it would take a week or two to arrive and they would call me when it did. Three to four weeks goes by and I call for an update and a female employee answers, looks into it and says she expects it to arrive in the next day or so and will call me back. Another few weeks go by with no call and I call to follow up (it's now been close to 2 months) and the parts have arrived and have been in the store for god knows how long and of course no call. I ask for the name of the manager as I would like to share my thoughts on some pretty terrible customer service I've experienced. The female sales person suddenly is not so helpful, can barely muster the name or contact details for the store manager and tells me that I should call back another time as she is new and doesn't know any procedures on how to resolve complaints (e.g. no email, customer service process, when a manager will be back, etc.). At any rate, I recommend you go anywhere but to that location. They've lost a customer in me and I plan to tell anyone and everyone I know not to go there. That one day I may have been a $5 sale and nothing to write home about for your daily sales total or commission if you make any, but that's not to say I wouldn't have purchased more another day or recommended friends to visit that location in the future. Pretty darn poor customer service if I do say so myself and rather unfortunate that you think treating people like that in a customer service industry is okay.

This was my first time in a sunglasses hut and my boyfriend and I received no service. No assistance, no suggestions unlike other competitors I have been to where they offer a tray to place the sunglasses and options to try out. We felt unwelcome and uncomfortable with the way the associate just eyed us like we were going to steal since I came in with a large bag from my work, which I asked to set down to calm down how she felt about us. With the lack of service I no longer want to come to a sunglasses hut ever again and I will stick to going to actual brand stores like Prada, Oakley, and Lens Crafters where we receive the service we expect.

My boyfriend and I came in last week and bought two pairs of sunglasses. The associate (Lexi I think) and the manager were great and suggested great options that we didn’t even see on our own. I work in retail as well and really appreciate great customer service

Store hours are wrong on the website, google, etc. waited outside. Finally saw a salesperson and knocked. Without saying hello she told us they don't open for an hour. I informed her the website said 10 and she was incredibly rude. Wanted to buy a few pairs of ray bans for the weekend. Would rather buy them from anywhere else

I bought my husband a pair of sunglasses for Christmas at this store. Very helpful staff but sometimes can feel a little uncomfortable that they follow you everywhere like a satellite. Sometimes I just want to roam freely on my own. My husband ended up desiring a different pair of sunglasses and they made the exchange fair and easy.

I was convinced by the store manager to buy a $245 pair of Maui Jim sunglasses because the warranty covers breaks and scratches. This was Absolutely incorrect! I just called to have the lens fixed due to a nasty scratch and Maui Jim informed me that they notified "Sunglass Hut Corporate years ago that the warranty policy has changed to only cover factory defects." This is extremely frustrating that a company could make such a lazy effort to stay informed of the products they sell and continue to falsely advertise those product in order to increase their sales. Of course no one will own up to their error and insist I have no other option than to pay $88 to replace the lenses. I will never shop at Sunglass Hut again!
