I have very good long time relationship with SunTrust bank and change to Truist bank so I am using mostly Kingstown branch with good service as usual but 3402 Wisconsin Ave NW branch very poor customer service for $62 cashier check the agent it takes 45 minutes she is not knowledgeable at all and the assistant vice president ( Anika A Marshall) she isn't helpful or she is not a solution finding person and she tells me what to do also she is acting like her own business and unprofessional service plus she refused to give me her business card and I did reporting immediately to Truist bank to investigate and to take decplinary action that isn't happening like that again and finally they refusing to give me my own money and they reversed the cashier check (voided) so they wasting my time.i am taking very seriously this issue until the Truist bank investigated.

Worst client service ever. I visited this branch in an attempt to open a new account as a new customer. I had tried opening online but received the message that my identity could not be verified and was instructed to go the branch. I met with Mr. S. M. who could not have been less helpful. He said there was a problem with Equifax and I would have to deal with them. I advised that he was wrong and he needed to follow the procedure for credit reports with fraud alerts but he would have none of it and asked me to leave, going so far as pretending to call the police when I tried to get assistance from the executive offices. I THEN WENT A FEW BLOCKS AWAY TO A DIFFERENT SUNTRUST AND HAD NO PROBLEM GETTING THE ACCOUNT OPENED BECAUSE THAT EMPLOYEE KNEW THE SIMPLE PROCEDURE. Based on my experience with the Truist/Suntrust location at 3402 Wisconsin Avenue NW in Washington DC, I would advise you to choose a different bank (or a credit union would be even better) unless you want to be treated like garbage.

MEAN is not a valid customer service strategy. My mother has banked at this branch for decades, yet when I went in needing assistance with a simple banking transaction, I was told that if I did not have an account with Suntrust, they could not assist me. Thanks, now I will never willingly use Suntrust.

If I could I would give this store a zero. I have never been treated so poorly by SunTrust as i was today. Paula apparently didn't want to deal with me before shuffling me off on Howard.

As of Spring 2015 it's brand-spanking new. The staff is very helpful, ask for Debra. I love the personal attention, being called by name and how my day is and offered good banking tips without the salesy, pushy voice or attitude. It's a personal bank and neighborhood bank to the tee. Now if only the investment rates were a little higher...
