“I had an excellent customer service experience with Terron. After waiting in a long line, he greeted me with a smile and was overall very pleasant. Because of this, I felt comfortable enough to ask him about an item which was not stocked on the shelf and which was the primary reason for my visit. He told me he knows it is in stock and if I would like for him to grab it for me. Needless to say, I was taken aback by this above and beyond offer and quickly agreed only if it would not create trouble for him. He finished ringing up my items, disappeared for all of 30 seconds and was back with options of the requested item for me to choose from. The customer behind me wanted the item, too, and was happy to get one as well.

“I 'very been going there since 2004,same store staff mostly the same, good guys, but this is a neighborhood landmark in the sense that, you are likely to run into a neighbor, friend, Peron you haven't seen in a while... OK so most neighborhood stores, who can only stay in comparison with the Big Stores, when the people in the neighborhood can't get to the store or don't feel like all the people on the grocery stores, but now of our stores are fair on some thins and outrages with others... As a single person, I shop there almost every day.On the pricey side for many items. The quality of produce and meat varies. Given the neighborhood demographics and the fact several hotels are nearby, the store needs more pre-prepared, fresh food.”

“Clean, always packed with food. Breakfast frozen items seem to sell out fast!! Lines can be long at times, seems only one person wants to work the register, when there are like 4. Always fast to get in and get out. Security guard on premise.”
“This was my first time at this Aldi location on South Dakota Avenue, NE.Entering the store was clean, no odors or obnoxious smells. The isle are wide and spacious. The fruits and vegetables looked appealing. They have bottled water, paper products, juices, cereals, meats, breads, ice creams, and home decor for the holidays. What I did not find was no smoked meats for seasoning my greens, beans, and cabbage. I will ask the next time I go if they carry these items. I did not find liver or chicken livers. I did find most of their prices are cheaper than Lidl. There was only one cashier working after 6:00 pm. But he was fast and kept the line moving. I will definitely be going back.”

“The produce is fresh although very expensive. The baked goods and store brand goods taste delicious. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable when asked to find a product. Sub sandwiches are made to order and can be purchased with EBT. Homeless people are usually begging and smoking outside the door which isn’t very welcoming. Overall, a pretty nice location.”
