Had a facial with Geneen and it was SO wonderful. It’s the day after and my skin is already feeling and looking so much better. She took great care of my skin and did a great job recommending products that would make the biggest impact for me as I struggle with multi-step routines. Would highly recommend her to anyone, and also really enjoyed the shop!

I had a massage with Danielle and it could not have been a better experience. She is SO attentive to what you need and she works with you to provide a really safe and comfortable massage. I’ve been getting massages for a long time and this was the best one yet! Thank you!

I loved the consultation and as a 62 year old woman, I wanted to update and improve my beauty products! They were great, patient and I found a whole new color match that is more natural and makes me look younger!

Take Care is a gem in Georgetown! The owner, Becky, and her team are welcoming and knowledgeable about the products. I always get great recommendations without the pressure to purchase products I don't need. The product selection is curated by Becky, whom I've come to trust over the years. She's consistently looking for the best clean products, even before "clean beauty" became a mainstream viral category. It's my go-to place for skincare, makeup, hair, and wellness products. Even if they don't have a particular item on their shelves, Becky and Karin are always willing to check and order them for you, if needed. Customer service is the best you can get. Their spa is also a great place to get facials and they recently added massages and Reiki. Master aestetician Erin's facials are incredible and her scalp massages are to die for! Definitely worth a visit!

I wish it was possible to give more than five stars to both Carolyn and to the amazing products that she used for my Rose Quartz Reiki facial. These products were the most luxurious I've ever felt on my face - and I've had many facials! You honestly will not believe how your skin feels with these products on it. In addition, Carolyn has a gentle, soothing nature that translates into her work. My facial with her was an hour of total relaxation and escape for me, and I highly recommend her services and the rose quartz products she used, regardless of your skin type! Thank you, Carolyn!

If you wander past Take Care, it might appear to just be a retail shop (natural skincare and beauty and wellness brands), albeit one with a lot of style. But it's more than that, too - it's also a holistic spa. I stopped to take care of myself the weekend after Thanksgiving and really enjoyed my experience! The spa menu is is varied - facials, microdermabrasion facials, lymphatic drainage facial, buccal facial,...! They also do some work with crystals, Reiki, and sound baths, which isn't my thing but may be really helpful to others. I had the manual lymphatic drainage facial - which is a quick facial followed by a very thorough face massage intended to address puffiness and dullness in the skin. I enjoyed my service very much. The facial was very relaxing, and the space (minimalist, clean, and bright) added to that experience. I live in Baltimore, where prices for just about everything are much lower than in DC, so Take Care was a bit of a splurge compared to the facials I get at home. But it was a treat, and it really did feel like I was taking extra good care of myself during the stressful holiday season. I probably couldn't do facials at Take Care too often, but I would happily return for future services to treat myself. My birthday is coming up!!

I was in town for the weekend and scheduled a facial with Erin. It was superb! She was so thorough and so thoughtful, reading my bio and adjusting the facial I had selected to something more appropriate based on my feedback. I will definitely return, I exited GLOWING.Spent some time shopping afterwards, what a beautifully curated shop. The best of green beauty and the vibe and the energy matched. The store owner was there as well and she was lovely. We chatted about different brands and upcoming events, new products, etc. Five stars all around. Can't wait for my next trip to DC so I can get in another treatment!

This is a gem of a shop. Their selection of clean beauty is excellent and they have a lovely selection of essential oil infused candles. Their facials are also outstanding. All of their estheticians are wonderful, but Erin is next level.

If you have not been to Take Care yet, I suggest you RUN there. It is such a gem and we are so lucky to have them in DC. The shop itself carries the absolute best of natural beauty and skincare.I also suggest you book an appointment for a facial treatment at their in-house spa. I went for my first facial yesterday with Regina and truly don't have words for how amazing it was. I have had facials all over the DMV and this one was by far the best experience I have ever had. The environment itself is clean, approachable, and calming and Regina took time to ask me about my specific skin goals before starting the service. I LOVED knowing that they are using extremely high quality and natural products in the service. This facial was the perfect mix of effective skin treatments and the most relaxing facial massage you'll ever have.I can't wait to go back again soon!!
