Hotel and service was superb! Very clean and welcoming! The robe and slippers made me feel at home, and the King bed was beyond comfortable. Location in DuPont Circle was fun for adventuring around. Local to lots of restaurants and close to Historical downtown. Would highly recommend and will return in the future. Thank you!

this hotel has uh-MAZING vibes... immaculate vibes one might say, and it's largely due to Elbe, the friendliest & warmest front desk staff I've ever met at a hotel. I've never felt so home immediately upon arriving at a hotel ❤️ ❤️ ❤️their restaurants have fantastic food, so don't sleep on them, either.last but not least, fantastic location that's close to everything. the only thing that came up a bit short is the shower door that wasn't positioned properly, so I had to dry the floor after my shower with some towels.overall an outstanding hotel. would go back in a heartbeat.

If you are looking for quality, this hotel is for you. At first we were in a room right next to the street where construction was going on so it was really noisy. We let the front desk know and they made arrangements to move us to a new room first thing in the morning. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. The room was wonderful, the robes were so comfortable and soft. The bed was comfortable the blankets were of high quality. I did not want to get out of bed. The shower was amazing as well. I would like to thank all the staff for the wonderful customer service. Especially the manager Estella who made sure to call me to make sure I was satisfied with the new room and if there was anything else needed. She also came to me after I checked out to thank me for my patience and gave me a coupon for my next stay. I will stay here again!Rooms: Cozy and comfortableNearby activities: Farmers market on Sunday's, bring your own bags.Walkability: Close to restaurants and shops

We stayed at DuPont Hotel the weekend of our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Krystle, the manager, rolled out the red carpet for us on service. She helped us find a spot to take a few wedding pictures when there was last minute bad weather. The room had a sweet note from the staff and a bottle of champagne. Everyone seemed to know we were getting married which was nice— we felt like we received special treatment. We had drinks downstairs at the Doyle bar. It has fantastic drinks and such a neat vibe.

Decent hotel, terrible service. I stayed here for 5 nights. While this hotel is touted as a 5-star hotel, the facilities and service definitely reduce it down to a barely 4-star establishment. I was initially put in an executive room, which is their 3rd level up room. There is nothing special about this room--with its small size and merely just a bed and bathroom. The shades and phone in my room were broken, but nothing was done about it. When they finally upgraded me to a junior suite, I had to pay $100 extra per night--even though the evening front desk employee said it was complimentary. They also got my reservations mixed up, and my invoices contained multiple errors that took a ridiculous amount of time to resolve. The service is terrible. The hotel is advertised with "Dedicated Guest Relations Team - A dedicated team of professionals who are delighted to assist you in customizing your stay." Be warned: this is FALSE ADVERTISING. It's nearly impossible to reach guest services, housekeeping, or the front desk by phone. And absolutely none of my service requests in the 5 nights were satisfactorily fulfilled. I never received my wine opener, mugs, slippers, housekeeping or teabags promptly or accurately. Every request had to be repeated multiple times and were ultimately either ignored or inaccurate upon arrival--or even worse, required additional payment when arriving at my door after 3 hours. For a five star hotel, there is NO service, and absolutely NOTHING--not even tea bags--are complimentary.Bottom line: it's a decent hotel in a great location with abysmal service and will nickel and dime you for every last thing.

I had three problems with the executive king suite. 1. The toilet ran. When you pay for a five-star hotel, you expect a fully functional toilet, but, lo. The flap in the toilet was the wrong size, so after each flush, I had to open the lid, put my hand in, and release the large flap so that the thing would fill again! I told two employees, but it was never fixed. 2. You would expect a fully dark room at night for such a price, right? But, again, no, the blackout blinds didn't work. They were supposed to close with the push of a button, but the mechanism was broken, and I was told by an employee that, Yeah, they're broken up there. So, my wife and I slept with the wooden blinds closed instead. Darkish, but not good enough for the price. 3. You would expect a proper door between the toilet and the bedroom, right? But, no. No, instead, there was a glass shower style door with a two inch gap all the way across the ceiling and an inch gap between the swinging door (it didn't latch!) and the glass frame. You get a fully functional toilet door at any old four-star hotel (or three-star, I presume), but not in the "executive" (do executives enjoy using the toilet in the same room where they sleep?) king suite. Management assured me that the blinds would be fixed "for my next visit". I'll stay somewhere that has a fully functional toilet, curtains, and a toilet door next time, actually.Walkability: The location is largely why the hotel is so expensive. The quality, in my case at least, wasn't there to merit the five-star classification.Noteworthy details: Explore what it's like to use the toilet without privacy. The cleaners will come in and rearrange your belongings each time you leave the room, though, and that apparently merits five stars. Someone in housekeeping knocked on the door while we were napping, and this lady wouldn't take no for an answer! Knock, knock, knock. We're in here. Knock, knock, knock. We're in here. Knock, knock, knock. WE'RE IN HERE, THANKS! Macaroni? NO. NO, MACARONI, THANKS. You order macaroni? NO, THANK YOU. ---That kind of determination to bring you food you didn't order is *chef's kiss* the kind comedy that you don't get in a Marriott.

Enjoyed my stay at The Dupont Circle Hotel. Room was a good size and clean. Liked the shutters for the windows. Lobby area was warm and inviting. The Pembroke had very good food and the service was fine too. Would definitely stay there again.

Can't recommend this hotel enough. I was traveling for business and the conference hotel where I intended to stay was booked - I grabbed a room at the Dupont as my second option, but I enjoyed my stay so much that it'll be my first choice in the future. The room was comfortable, clean, and fully stocked - no complaints at all. The food & cocktails were great at both restaurants, and the servers/bartenders were all very helpful and friendly. My room was tended to multiple times a day (which was a nice surprise), and the location of the hotel is central to a ton of restaurants, bars, etc. - walking distance. Lastly - I have to shout out Cortez at the front desk by name! He was friendly, attentive, & courteous, and consistently ensured my stay was as comfortable as possible. To up my review from 4 stars to 5 - not only did he recommend nearby businesses upon my request, but he even walked me to one close by as I was unfamiliar with the area. I thought that was very kind and above & beyond one's usual scope of responsibilities in the hospitality industry. 10/10 would recommend and will def be returning in the future!

Lets start with the positive. Excellent location in beautiful area of DC.Now the negative. If you don't mind paying over $800 for two nights to stay in a large closet, then this is the place for you. Incredibly small rooms! Check your billing as we were overcharged by $130 before spending time on the phone with manager to correct. That on top of overworked staff, our room was not cleaned until I requested after 6 pm and our car not ready when requested during departure. Overall poor experience. Do not recommend.

My stay at the Dupont Circle Hotel was truly exceptional, largely due to the outstanding service provided by Farah. Throughout my visit, I experienced a high level of professionalism and attentiveness from every member of the hotel staff, from the doorman to the front desk and housekeeping team. The attention to detail and warm hospitality made my stay a memorable and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and welcoming stay in the heart of the city. Kudos to the entire team for creating such a delightful atmosphere!

The staff was exceedingly friendly and kind. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel valued and cared for.The front desk staff was especially warm and offered great suggestions nearby. This location is within walking distance to some of the best DC offers, including restaurants, bars, coffee, and the assortment of iconic landmarks. For example, the White House is about a 20-25 minute walk away and there’s plenty to see on the journey. If you’re interested in a central location that allows you to explore DC by foot, this area is ideal. The room itself was well equipped and frequently serviced by the cleaning staff. Our only critique would be that our room had a half-empty water bottle in it at check-in and the shower could do for a thorough clean, as it had some visible mildew and soap scum. These small cleanliness critiques did not at all detract from our lovely experience.Rooms: The room was well-equipped and comfortable. The blackout curtains allowed us to enjoy restful, uninterrupted sleep. The room could use a thorough clean of the shower area, but it was not dirty enough that we requested a different room.Walkability: Many of the iconic must-see locations in DC are within walking distance. We were able to comfortably walk to the Smithsonian museums and the Lincoln memorial from this hotel.Food & drinks: The attached bar and restaurant were excellent. The bar service was a highlight of our stay.

Had a fantastic 3 night stay here recently. The room was very nice. Gf loved the heated floors and views of Dupont circle. Convenient location and access to shops, restaurants and metro stations. The staff were very kind and helpful. They definitely make you feel welcome. Look forward to future stays.

Had an amazing stay at The Dupont Circle Hotel, conveniently situated in the heart of Dupont Circle. The staff were incredibly helpful, going out of their way to assist with any requests I had. Rooms are comfortable and practical with black-out blinds helpful if you're dealing with jet lag. Lobby is super super comfortable with a very chill ambience. Highly recommend.

Service was impeccable from valet to front desk to Pembroke restaurant. However, we booked an ADA wheelchair accessible room that you could barely fit a wheelchair between bed and wall and there was no built-in shower bench for transferring into shower. Housekeeping sent up a shower bench that was very unstable and extremely small for an adult. It would have been dangerous to use. Please install drop down shower benches like the hotel chains have..it's a liability issue. Also, the bathroom rolling shelving had not be cleaned for months, especially the bottom shelf where the hairdryer was stored.Surprisingly, hotel is rated 5 star....Safety: Wheelchair accessible room needs improvement.

Amazing stay! We had just gotten married and I mentioned this casually to the front desk staff (Estella and another younger gentleman I’m forgetting his name) within minutes I received a text message from the assistant manager Tiffany asking when we were going to be around the room to send up a treat. That is amazing attention to detail. Was really impressed with the staff we interacted with across the board. They went above and beyond to give great vibes and make our stay feel special. Room was super comfy, great views and the bathrobe and slippers were everything.
