I got 18 inch wavy hair extensions for the first time from Frankie. 10/10 recommend. It is tough to find someone who can do a brunette, **wavy** weave. My hair type is 2b/2c depending on humidity. Shoulder length. A lot of salons specialize in blondes OR weaves for chemically straightened hair OR extensions for curlier hair types. Frankie does these things, and I'm sure does them well, but if I see only blondes or hair types 1/3/4 in reviews or on IG.... I assume that salon won't work for me. And its always a risk getting extensions for length, as if they're done poorly they can look obvious and bad. Frankie nailed it on all fronts. I even had a weird color situation he corrected. I will be going back to Frankie exclusively for as long as I live in DC. If you have brown wavy hair and want to give it a break from styling while it grows SEE FRANKIE (he also does a great job with blondes but I'm speaking from my experience).

I have known Frankie for over 10 years. Frankie is a true specialist in all things color and extensions. He’s extremely patient and thorough with his technique and consistency. He’s not afraid to wow you. Truly the best in the business. His approach to hair is that of an Artist, no detail over looked. I’m obsessed with his multi dimension blonde technique. I have had several different types of extensions over the years with him, everyone seamless and undetectable. I would highly recommend him.

I always look forward to my appointments with Frankie! He’s extremely knowledgeable about color, maintenance, and any kind of hair extensions. I’m a bit of a bleach queen but he actually cares about the health of my hair and is always careful not to damage or push it too far. I’ve never had softer, longer, or healthier looking hair since I found him, cannot recommend enough!!

Frankie is an amazing stylist and wonderful personality! I went in looking for ktip hair extensions wanting to add volume and length to my hair. He did a wonderful job. The blending is flawless, and the ktips look seamless and feel so comfortable

Frankie is a talented and an excellent hair stylist. I really appreciate his honesty with my daughter's hair: since she colored them a few times unsuccessfully, Frankie said that we have to nourish hair first before coloring them. Frankie is a real master of hair techniques and knows what's best for his clients. His hairstyles are up to date and his ideas are very innovative. Prices are reasonable considering his fame. The studio is conveniently located: 5 minutes from the metro or the parking garage. Finally, Frankie has great communication skills and is always open to have a conversation. The experience is Frankie is unforgettable and I will continue to recommend him to my family and friends.

Frankie is truly #1 for blonding and extensions anywhere in DC! I have been going to Frankie for years now for extensions, and he's always taken such great care of my hair. He's helped me to improve the strength and quality of my hair while achieving my goal of a lighter blonde. Frankie Sanderson has been my go-to stylist and makeup artist for the past 19 years after struggling find a stylist that listened to what I wanted and had the technical abilities to deliver it. I came across his name in Allure magazine and promptly switched from my stylist at the Four Seasons to Frankie, Since then he’s cut, colored, foilaged, and added extensions to my naturally deep brown hair hundreds of times. He is the only person I would refer to friends, family and colleagues (every referral became his repeat client). He listens to what I want and finds a way to over deliver each time.
