I thought there would be more variety and clothing options at this location, but I was a little let down when it lagged behind other locations I have been to regarding clothing. There were a few basics I could get, but my reason for visiting this location had not been for basics. I wouldn't tell anyone to pass up this location, but the clothing options are hit or miss, depending on when you go.
Also, when I went, the dressing rooms were closed, so you just had to buy items and hope they'd fit. Otherwise, you'd have to bring them back to return the items that did not fit. That isn't a huge hassle, but it is usually the last thing you want to do.
However, they have a great collection of bags, purses, and luggage. Their jewelry was okay; it seems like it is hit or miss.

I was in there today and I was greeted by this wonderful woman her name is Lashay. She was so welcoming and professional her customer service is absolutely outstanding please promote or give this woman a raise . - woman who bought the pink bags.

Came to shop for some last minute Christmas gifts. At checkout I was accused of tagging a purse with a discounted tag that they had clearly tagged wrong themselves. The check out women with the crusty eyelashes said that customers do it all the time and that “I would know”.
Horrible service and strong accusations from their end. Felt discriminated. I always shop here and I never had such horrible experience.

Meh. Unhelpful floor manager who couldn't be bothered to answer a simple question about the neighborhood other than "Google it." Not surprisingly, we heard him speak dismissively to a woman employee. If a store claims proudly to have been in the Georgetown neighborhood since 2013, one would think its management could act more neighborly towards customers. Won't be shopping there again; will take my business to truly local, women-run businesses.

Like all other people who visit the place, I like it. My wife spends a lot of time in this place and purchases a lot as it has everyday new delivery.

There's nowhere better than T.J. Maxx when you're looking for a blender, a joke gift pair of Keystone Light underwear, and a weird canvas print of a dog all in one store. This store always has a wide selection of great deals and a quickly rotating stock. It does also tend to have longer checkout lines (often with too few staff on the registers), and almost always a heavily armored guard patrolling for some reason - a good shoplifting deterrent I guess, but also feels overkill.

Doesn’t compare to the TJ Maxx I’m
used to in California. Maybe Georgetown on M Street, if I could ever park.

I find what I need at TJMaxx, many times unique, welll priced items. Their bathroom is clean! Their staff is helpful and friendly. Thank you

Stopped by here to pick up a pair of earrings for my mother, which I'm only just realizing I have yet to actually give her. It's a nice enough store, almost impossible to find parking in this area of Georgetown though!
They also have long lasting perfumes right at the counter and you can spray yourself very liberally before you leave.
