These guys get it smoothly done time after time. Used to use them only occasionally but now see them every month. Personable up front and competent from behind. What a marked improvement over chain drug stores. Keep up the great work!

Went today for the first time and had a mixed experience. The cashier I had was condescending, rude (pretty sure he rolled his eyes at me), and seemed to resent having to do any work. The pharmacist/tech (I’m not sure which) he passed me off to was super helpful and nice - like went out of his way to help me. Then I had to be passed back to the cashier for check out, and again, just not a pleasant experience (and frankly, took forever). I’m going to try again next month, and hopefully the next cashier I get has a better attitude.

Got in there an hour after the medication was supposed to be ready. Was told I needed to wait 20 mins for them to finish. Proceeded to wait 40 mins. During this time the male and female pharmacists mainly were just talking to each other. I even had my girlfriend go back in to check if they were busy as we were calling them to see how much longer it would take. She walked in to see the phone ringing and the workers simply on their phones and talking laughing with each other. These meds are for a family member that had just got out of the hospital that same day and desperately needed them for their pain. I cannot recommend enough that you visit any other pharmacy and I really hope these employees are trained on the correct way to speak to customers and perform the job they’re paid for.

I've been gate keeping this pharmacy because it's truly the only one I've found that actually cares about its customers, but others deserve to see what a good pharmacist is like

Steve has been beyond helpful and encouraging during my aging and my illnesses. He is a committed and caring professional ,competent as a pharmacist who works with one’s doctors.In one instance he has made a compound medecine prescribed by a doctor .it has changed my life.

I popped in this afternoon to pick up an Rx that needed to be from a pharmacy that could prepare a compound medicine, and received the best service. The cashier was efficient and kind, and the pharmacist who prepared my Rx walked around the counter and took the time to discuss the medication and even tips for best practices. The shop itself harkens back to an earlier time, with its narrow aisles and old-timey candy, and the whole process felt very small-town charming in the heart of D.C.

Staff (with the exception of one tech, AA Lady, reason for additional star) appears to be stressed, overworked, or simply unhappy. I was told when asked to be assisted with a simple transfer that "They were unwilling to do so because he (the pharmacist) didn't have time and just doesn't want to talk to a retail pharmacy." Then further accused me of calling them because I didn't want to do the work for the transfer myself. Keeping in mind I simply called for the process as my doctor sent to my old pharmacy.Previously I had no issue when using one of the doctor offices in the building the pharmacy is located in, and I think I will only use this place for emergency fills when I am inside that building. Giving them additional task typically carried out by a pharmacy may be a little too much for this "Old School" place.Would recommend for emergency pick up only if you have an appointment with any of the medical professionals at the 2121K Building.

Extremely poor communication with both patients and HCPs. Tech lied about phone conversation to cover up for not sending my meds and then Steven hung up on me when the gaslighting set off a trauma response and I got upset

Nasty rude pharmacist who cut me off every time I tried to speak. I would not recommend getting your rx filled there.

Excellent service with an old-school pharmacy vibe. They prepared my prescription in under 20 minutes while I shopped the narrow aisles. You can also wait in the office building lobby. As this is downtown, there is not great parking, but cannot hold that against this great pharmacy.

They are very professional with quick service. I was visiting DC from Texas when my medicine was stolen from my car.The pharmacist assisted with the prescription transfer and I had my meds in no time. Thank you!

5 out of 5! Excellent pharmacy; excellent staff & pharmacists. These guys pay attention to detail and make every attempt to save you money. They have competitive pricing and friendly service. I am very glad I found them and you will be too!

I would not recommend using this pharmacy. Six days and still waiting for my prescription. Worse, the customer service is lacking. Mistakes happen, but the response is glib; pharmacist and staff make you feel like they're doing you a favor. You're also charged for shipping, where other pharmacies do not.
