Was in town for 4 days (visiting from Portland Oregon, was staying with a friend 3 blocks away). I had breakfast sandwiches here 3 of the 4 days, and a standard sandwich for the last dinner while in DC. AMAZING food, is all I can say! Plus, such a great little market absolutely packed with grocery goods, many/most of which were locally sourced from small businesses! Really can't wait to come back and have another meal! Also should note that the second time I came back, the woman taking my order (I think maybe the owner?) remembered my name from 2 days before, and welcomed me back warmly! The third time, she didn't even ask for my name, she just automatically typed it in!
Kid-friendliness: Kids would have a blast here, also, I saw kids there every time I walked in.
Wheelchair accessibility: There's an actual grated ramp leading up the one step to the door from the sidewalk

Great place to stop buy & grab something to make dinner a bit nicer. The products they sell are high quality & some are local. The staff members are wonderful. 👍🏻

Great spot to drop in for a coffee or emergency groceries! They don't have everything and what they do have is expensive, but they usually have eggs and basics like that. Lots of gourmet snacks. And wine! My only complaint is that they're often sold out of oat milk. I've tried the sunflower milk they stock and it's not my fave.
Pretty cramped inside but they have a great patio in the warmer months. Right now they set up a little bistro table inside since it's so cold out.
I love dogs but I am grateful that dogs stay outside so they're not mixed up with the food. There is a doggy "parking spot" right outside the door.

Tasty sandwiches and a very friendly staff. To-go orders only, with a few tables outside to sit, and a cute boutiquey grocery and beer & wine store inside. Great bacon egg and cheese on a bagel!

What a great neighborhood shop! I like to stop on my way to work to pick up a latte and club sandwich (for lunch!). The lattes are perfect and well-priced. I'd be willing to pay more since it's a locally-owned store, so it's a bonus that they're at least $1 cheaper than other DC coffee shops. (Hey, a dollar adds up.) The staff is also very friendly.

A nice place to go in the neighborhood. The coffee is very nice, the baked goods are excellent. The sandwiches are okay. The ice cream is always freezer-burned. Skip the ice cream.
