This place has a great view of the Capitol. It's also near the National Art Gallery that leads to the other Smithsonian museums. There are also botanical gardens near the reflecting pool. The fountain is so large that it's easy to find a spot to relax or take photos. It's at the east end of the Washington Mall.

This was very pretty. We also saw some people practicing civil action. There was an anti-Trump protest going on, so that was cool to see. With the view of the capitol from afar, the whole experience was very memorable.
