Very helpful customer service! Needed to get a large package boxed for work to transport on a flight. Went to 2021 L Street location first where the customer service was horrible, very unfriendly. The rep there acted like I was a bother the moment I walked in, stating they didn’t do packing without shipping, and didn’t offer any suggestions. Called this UPS store and they were very friendly and said of course I could pay for packing without shipping. Very professional, fast service. Appreciate the help!

Would give this place zero stars if I could. I shipped a package to this store because when I tried to get it shipped to my address it said it was too long. When I get there an older gentleman says “you know we charge $10 for packages like this right? (it was a regular 2 foot long package not oversized)” and I say “oh I’m sorry I didn’t know” and then he holds my package hostage and says “Pay us the $10”. The item I bought was $4 and reluctantly paid. Absolutely horrendous behavior from an employee.

Good, convenient spot for copies ? and sending UPS overnight shipping ?, Owner recommended approach that saved me $40. Clean store on lower level to the left of CVS.

The store refuses to take packages with UPS labels for delivery. My package had a label from the UPS website, but they would not accept it. I even showed them the email instructions and label online (directly on the UPS website), but they would not listen. Both employees were rude and made it seem like the onus was on me.Do not bother visiting this location.

Traved here for business. Called for notary service and was told the notary quit, no suggestions offered about where I might go. Asked if you I could email something to be printed and was told no, have to come do it myself because no one shows up to get copies. Tried to ask if I could pay ahead but couldn't finish my sentence before he told me he was busy and had to go. Extremely rude and unhelpful. Would recommend you go someplace else for your business needs. With that type of attitude, I am not sure how they stay in business.

This isn’t just the worst UPS Store in Washington! It’s quite possibly the worst UPS Store in the universe! Recently, I helped a friend pack his computer system (we’re both college students) to send back home. When we arrived at the UPS Store, not only was it outrageously expensive to ship everything (several hundred dollars including $25 for just a box) but the employee handling the package dropped it as soon as my friend paid for the shipping costs. When my friend received his computer system after he got back home, he opened the box only to find that his computer monitor had incurred significant damage. This was beyond frustrating to hear, especially after hearing how costly it was for him to ship everything. In addition, the employees at this store definitely need to have a better attitude with customers. The owner of store (an older white male) and his two assistants are either very helpful and efficient or rude, inefficient, and impatient. If you want to avoid being subject to shipping rates that are well above that of other UPS stores and having to deal with inefficient, clumsy, and rude people, please avoid this UPS Store. Go to the post office at 1750 Pennsylvania Ave NW or to the other UPS Store nearby on L Street. There are plenty of UPS Stores that need and deserve business, but this store certainly doesn’t.

Greedy. Charged me $3.50 to send an Amazon return. $3.00 to ‘rent’ their computer so I could login to my email and .50 cents to print the return label. Like…is that really necessary!?!

Stay away! Demanded $5.99 to pack a return despite being shown a receipt that this fee was already paid. Admitted this is a duplicate charge that conflicts with UPS policy, explaining that franchisees can do whatever they want. Stops accepting any drop-offs at 5:45pm despite closing at 6pm.

The owner of this UPS store ROCKS! We have been a customer for many years. The owner and his staff are always friendly, accommodating and professional. The location is great too! They always go the extra mile. Based on our years of experience, we highly recommend this UPS store.

The actual store hours are not till 6pm but until 5:45pm. I brought a package today with prepaid label, arrived at location at 5:55, the door was already locked. Store employee opened the door when i knocked and said package drop off is until 5:45. I told her I already have the prepaid label, she said still the drop off is until 5:45, then locked the door. She didn't ask if i needed any other services, not involving package drop off. Which essentially means the store hours are until 5:45 and not 6pm. I came to this location many times before and was fully satisfied with service, this is the first time I was informed that they stop servicing clients at 5:45pm. This UPS store/business should advertise accurate hours. Otherwise customers are wasting time for the trip.

Harry is very kind and helpful. He does a great job with the Summer Storage package. We’ve used this UPS location 2 years in a row now to store all my stuff for the summer, and there has never been any issues. Much better than other storage companies. I highly recommend to anyone especially GW students.

I was minding my business trying to get some errands done when I was verbally attacked by one of the workers. He stated “Since black history month over with I can finally say this” and proceeded to call me a N word (with the hard R) B—ch . I was completely taken aback and exited immediately.

This is my first time here and the white older man is very rude and sassy if I might add, Better customer service is needed in this establishment.
