I think the problem here is that there are no long-term employees, but rather they keep rotating ad-hoc replacements through. One of them is nice and helpful, but the rest are horrible not just as representatives of the United States Postal Service but as humans. Totally nasty people who should not be in a public-facing role. I miss Ms. Brown, who retired a few years back and was the brains behind the whole operation.

horrible customer service. Refused to take my pre-paid for flat rate box for an APO shipment claiming that they needed quadruplicate copies of the customs paperwork (that I filled out online). Completely disregards standard policies. Recommend going to Watergate where they are happy to take your package without some made-up rule to require quadruplicate copies of customs paperwork.

This is inside the state department and not open to the public. It shouldn’t be on the map.

Horrible service. I went in there today the lady was rude and stated that I need to pay for one piece of tape to fully close my packet. Like really?? You will make me buy $4 tape instead of letting me use the one at your desk. I have been to other USPS stores and UPS stores for returns and never had to worry about bringing my own tape for a return. She clearly hates her job and life and should be fired. I left and walked the 15 mins to my local UPS. I’ll never being going to this place again. If you don’t want to get yelled at by a pathetic rude employee, skip this location.

I tried to find a Usps to buy stamps and send my application and started following google maps till it led me into this really important looking building. I got in and someone was like Um who are you and I was like uhh is there a Usps here and they were like how did you get in did a security guard not stop you and I was like um no and they were like this is the US State Department you can’t enter without an ID

Not really happy with my services that were provided here. The lady behind the counter wasnt very helpful. She seemed annoyed that she had to take my box to ship out and didnt want to explain the services they provide. This is not a public post office.
