Would give a 0 rating. Rudest staff (the african american females at the counter) ever encountered. The mailwomen, just as rude, ignore redelivery requests. Employing them does more harm than good.

This fulfills the basic functions of a post office, but the staff do not go out of their way to help you in any way.

The two ladies who were working that day, do not have any education, training or intelligence to perform their function.Specifically, the lady who helped me, was unwilling, everything I asked was a problem. The postal service must carry out a greater selection of workers.Terrible level of person and intellect. It's sad to see the deterioration in the quality of postal services.

Needed to buy just two postcard stamps! Breanna was patient, kind, and ready to assist me! Will stop here again if I’m in the area! Just remember to be kind to all the USPS employees and hopefully they will return the favor!

Website says the lobby and PO Boxes are available until 1pm on Saturdays. The front door says it’s only open until noon. Get your act together, USPS.

I’m afraid of the people who work here. Every time I have to go in, I expect to be fussed at at for something I didn’t understand. I’m sorry, I’m trying to follow instructions, please don’t be mad today, please don’t yell at me again. It’s truly anxiety-inducing and I try to go to other branches when I can.

Most miserable people behind that counter I’ve ever encountered. I felt like i was at the airport which should not be the case. The one by the watergate mall, the employees are the same way. What is up with these people. If you don’t like your job then get a new one because customer service isn’t for you.

Some of the rudest staff I have ever encountered. I walked in to mail a return and approached the counter as no other customers were in the store. When I greeted the woman working at the counter and placed my item to return on the counter with the bag it came in next to it she yelled at me and told me I am not to come to the counter unless I have everything in the bag and sealed. I tried to explain to her that I wanted to ask if the bag it came in was ok to use for the return and she yelled at me again to leave the counter and go purchase another bag. Her behavior was so rude and unnecessary and because of this, I will never be returning to this location again.

You know it’s bad when you, the customer, are more friendlier than the people who actually work in the establishment. Very, very rude black ladies that work in here (never any different type of race or gender). They should get some more diversity, as everyone one of them acts like they hate their job towards the customer but laugh and smile amongst each other... I also had some sentimental letters that never reached their destination after sending them out last month from here.

Poker face and rude staff. Two counters were open. A man was in front of me in the line. When it was his turn, the staff yelled something. Maybe he was missing some form? He left the line to go find the item. Then it's my turn, but the clerk suddenly suddenly said the line starts over there. No one else was in line. No line. It was just me! Confused, I followed her finger and left the line. Guess what? It's a tiny teeny room, the post office. Where else can the line "start"? I walked along and restarted where I began the last time around. Now, having enjoyed her power trip moment, clerk was satisfied. Why so rude? Why so nonsensical? This branch is tiny, in a newly built apartment building (on 22nd St NW). Convenient community location; looks new; but the staff didn't want to be there.

I'm a big fan of supporting the US Postal Service, but the service at this location ranges from absolutely average to completely abysmal. I always have a nice demeanor when speaking to people in service roles, because I worked in retail for almost a decade. However, it doesn't matter how nice or cheery you are to the people working at the desk, they will talk to you with a short and unfriendly attitude no matter what. For example, I stood at the counter and the lady promptly told me to "STAND BEHIND THE GLASS" (there's a small glass separator between the post office workers and the customers). I would have totally understood why she said that, except I was may be a millimeter closer than I would've been if I had been behind the glass I really wasn't leaning over the counter AT ALL. This is just one example. Once my roommate called me and asked me if we had tape at home which I said that we did, and she said she thought she did something wrong (which she hadn't), because the postal people are so incredibly rude to her when she asked him if they had tape to use. They are constantly rude. Sorry you work hate your job but that's not the customers fault!! GO TO UPS NEARBY! Also they weirdly require masks... I don't know where anywhere else that does except the doctors office lol but okay- so wear a mask if you go here.
