Probably the greatest cigar store in DC. Two gentlemen in the store are extremely knowledgeable extremely helpful. If you're a cigar aficiado or novice or looking for a gift it's a must see visit, without a doubt.

Professional and friendly staff. Decent collection as well, though they don't carry Opus X cigars. My only issue is that they close early during the week (at 5 pm) and are not open on the weekends. This limits customers' ability to shop there, especially if they don't have time to do so during working hours.

This place lives purely off reputation and history but in reality it's a small shop with a very limited selection and believe it or not no smoking lounge. They don't even let you smoke inside despite having chairs and a small sitting area. Considering there are places around DC that have lounges, lockers, and large humidor selections such as Davidus and Montecristo I can't believe this place stays relevant.

I’ve been a customer of the shop for over 20 years. Still the greatest selection of cigars in DC. So many major brands were first sold in DC at Drapers. If your new to cigars, or a seasoned pro, this is still a place you have to visit.

Stunned to find out this is a non smoking cigar shop! My father use to smoke cigars in their lounge for 20 years and evidently they decided a while back that they won't allow smoking inside, so sad!

Great location, right near the White House. Horrible hours as they are only open 10AM-5PM and they no longer allow smoking in the building. I was told it was the landlord's decision, which is d*** because the tobacco smell is already burned in. They're missing out on good business opportunities, and not sure how they keep this location open with such limitations.

Great section and extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. I also noticed the guy added a 10% discount to my purchase since I was in uniform. Thanks for the support!

I believe this is the oldest shop in DC. They have a lot of nice tobacco related antiques on display. A nice quiet, chill place to light up a stick.
