Because people make the place , this place is the best pharmacy with most wonderful, helpful, professional, carrying staff! Very efficient, both when pick up and when using delivery. Having a very good experience so far. But I have been dealing exclusively with a special unit of the entire Walgreens mail service, called Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy. Very knowledgeable staff, helpful in my dealing with the insurance side of the process. No complaints.

Thought this pharmacy would be better than the Walgreens at 1815 Connecticut Ave, but have been completely disappointed. Was picking up a prescription and because insurance wasn't covering could use a coupon that saved a significant amount of $, but needed to be a certain manufacturer that they do carry but was out of. At first visit, said they would order the other manufacturer so I can get the discount medicine. Upon second visit several days later, they tried to give me the expensive medicine again, apparently they didn't place the order for the discount medicine. Called U St pharmacy and said they had it and I can go there to get it and they would take care of the transfer. Went to U St Pharmacy (3rd pharmacy visit) and they said they couldn't fill it there because it's a new script, and I need to call my doctor and have them send it there. Doctor's office is closed, so needed to call the doctor to send a script that is already with Walgreens to go to another Walgreens and have to return for a 4th visit for one prescription over a 2 week period! INCOMPETANCE IN CUSTOMER CARE!!

This place is so much better than a normal CVS or Walgreens. The pharmacists were super cheerful and it seemed like a nice work environment, lots of jokes. I came in 5 minutes after my doctor ordered medicine, and it was clear I was in a rush, but they didn't seem to mind and they got it done incredibly quickly. Also, I was going to pay out of pocket, and the person at the checkout recommended I use coupons, which saved me a lot of money. Thanks :)

This pharmacy is what most want to be. Friendly, helpful and always available for questions or refills or both! I have been using this one since cvs doesn't take my insurance any more and I just can't say enough about the staff or management. So worth the experience that I hate to write this - more people will know about it. I've been a customer for 4 years at least. It keeps getting better.

RUDE RUDE RUDE. Inefficient and rude on the phone. Waiting now for over 5 hours for a single prescription. I was yelled at on the phone for asking for an ETA on a prescription. Will NEVER use this pharmacy again. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I hate hate hate waiting in line at CVS especially when someone would checkout other items at the pharmacy counter. I never had to wait in line here. Just walk in and walk right back out.
