They deserve the low ratings. Pharmacy provided incorrect info about my insurance and made me wait 30 minutes to tell me incorrect information. Staff definitely don’t care about customer service.

Definitely the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They never pick up the phone, so you have to walk all the way over there and wait in line for about an hour, only for them to tell me they didn’t have the meds they said they would hold for me 2 days ago. Huge waste of my time. They are horribly understaffed and the few staff they have there clearly hate the job and don’t want to help you.

They need to hire more pharmacists.With flu shot season in full swing, the lines at the pharmacy are insane.The pharmacists are doing their level best, working flat out, but expect at least an hour to an hour and a half delay for flu shot “appointments”Walgreens is too cheap to properly staff their stores. Hire more people!

I just stopped by to give a public shout-out to the friendly young woman (with the amazing smile!) who helped me here last week. She was so kind and patient processing my return, helping me to reimburse my gift card, and giving me advice to maximize the discount on my new purchase. Her exact words to me were, "Don't worry. I like a challenge. I'll figure this out. It's my job." What a wonderful employee.

Incompetent staff who threatened to throw customers out of the store using a gun. I visited the store to get a refund in March 2023. During the process, the staff was very impatient because they were able to process it for me due to mechanical issues and all of a sudden threatened to throw me out of the store. The security almost pulled a gun. I had to leave for my own safety. Afterwards, I requested apology to resolve the issue, but the store manager Bethany closed the case without my consent and didn’t act on what happened. The regional director Russell didn’t act on what’s happened either. The threatening was truly terrifying and the staff are indifferent. I got anxiety after what happened and reserve the right to press charge. If you are reading this comment, I wouldn’t recommend anyone visit this store. They don’t care about customers and Walgreens should rotten

The worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. Their website will say my prescription is on the way when they haven't even ordered it yet. They will tell me my meds are going to be there tomorrow when they really aren't. I have tried to call them multiple times in a row to confirm if my meds are there and they hung up on me 4 times in a row, I was trying to get ahold of them for over an hour. They make you go all the way to the pharmacy just to tell you your meds aren't there. I literally need my medication for my asthma so I can breathe. Without it I have to go to the hospital for asthma attacks. They seem extremely understaffed and the few staff there don't care about helping you even in the slightest. If you have the choice, never go to this pharmacy.

Do not go there to take a passport photo!I went to this Walgreens near the Embassy of Mali in Washington DC on June 20th around 12pm. I am from NJ by the way and this was my first trip to DC after 10+ years.They are unprofessional, they don’t have a curtain to take a photo of you. They will just make you stand by their white wall and then edit the image in the computer with white erasers. Unfortunately, my picture was not nice at all. It was ugly. I asked the guy to retake it. HE REFUSED AND TOLD ME TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, which I did. He was a Somalian guy. He shouldn’t be working there if he is not ready to take his job seriously and please the customers .At CVS nearby, everything was perfect. They indeed had a white curtain begin and they did not have to edit anything.

I had a much-needed, extraordinary service experience with the pharmacist at the Walgreen's located at 1217 22nd Street, NW in Washington, DC. on May 19th. I left my medicine box in NJ and had arrived in DC for three nights, to celebrate my husband's birthday with our adult children. . . who had also traveled there. I have a chronic disease and was at my wit's end, so stressed out about getting ill while out of town. The pharmacist did a tremendous amount of work to get my 8 prescriptions ready, with 3-day supplies of each, explaining the situation to my insurance company, so that they would allow the emergency fills. His name was Joe and this was on 5/19/2023. He was an amazing example of professional courtesy and expertise and I will not soon forget his kindness. Thank you, Joe!

Going off of the hours of operations listed for this Walgreens pharmacy, we had our ER physician electronically send my prescriptions here not realizing that they not only don't honor their own hours but also don't carry the most basic of medications. I have never seen a pharmacy operate like this. Incase it isn't obvious, access to medication can be quite emergent. Something needs to be done here. We, however, won't be back.

The worst customer service! It is saturday when there is always a lot of people shopping and I wait for manager for 15 minutes!!!!!! And she was like system is not taking your purchase rewards I cannot do anything! Like what am I supposed to do? I have to solve this problem by myself but not the store?” Come back other day for different manager and talk to her” this was the answer! Really walgreens?????? I have never in my life leave bad review but that is it! I am the Karen today! And just for that answer I waited 15 minutes and the face of the manager?!

I’ve been calling this pharmacy for the past 3 days and I’ve never had someone answer. It’s ridiculous, unprofessional and really frustrating. I just waited on hold for 10 minutes then they hung up. Go literally anywhere else because they clearly don’t want to work.
