Liz Shorb is the best! We used her to list our house in Chevy Chase Village and I can’t say enough about how professional, responsive, and effective she is! She provides great advice and representation. Will definitely use her again in the future.

I had a truly awful experience with Lee Murphy. And dealing with with her broker was even worse. Needless to say the property never got to the table and I ended up firing her. She told me she had just gone through a bad divorce but it shouldn't have affected her performance. She had the nerve to charge me 3% and not do any staging at all. We had a very shaky contract and she just let it die on the day of settlement. I did not know this early on. A good real estate agent will look out for potential problems. She just didn't care. She did not represent me well. I am glad I got rid of her sooner. Ive bought and sold millions of dollars in properties in the DMV area since this bad experience. Thankfully she didn't get any of the commissions. I do not recommend her or this pompous firm for anything.

Bottom line, I was poorly represented. The square footage of my condo was misrepresented in marketing, which may have cost me $10,000 (after a $5,000 'apology' reduction in commission). I was called "rude" and "entitled" over the phone by my agent. Then he 'fired' me. He was more concerned with me buying champagne and flutes for the new buyer than getting the square footage correct. (look at your own WFP measured and prepared floor plans). When I asked for a garage space photo to be added, I was told "less is more". With Washington Fine Properties-Robert&Tyler Group you will get less. And I've been waiting weeks to hear back from the partner that handles grievances. Time for arbitration folks.But...my biggest regret is that I broke my word. I had promised the listing to one of the hardest working agents at the real estate company that managed my condo rental for 12 years. But then I was blinded by an image of 'the best'. So now I have egg on my face but it is well deserved. And living with that remorse is worse than getting less for my condo than what an equal-in-every-way comp had just sold for in my building.

We contacted Nathan Guggenheim, but since he was a listing agent, he recommended to us MARY GROVER EHRGOOD. She called us and started questioning all about money. We had pre-approval for $1.7M. She told us she never heard about our lender, and we better give her pre-approval from big famous bank! She wanted to see our bank statements for down payment money even without signing agency agreement with us! At some point she told us that she is "INTERVIEWING US TO SEE IF SHE CAN REPRESENT US"! WHAT!!! Who she thinks she is? Queen of Washington DC? Just because she born here, and we are poor people from out of state who is trying to buy $2M house! We felt totally intimidated by this unprofessional approach from her side! Looks like the house we wanted to buy was set up deal for another client! Our cap was just 15k lower from winning offer! She tried to do all possible, so we don't give an offer on this house! Frustrated! Never ever use this snobby agency!

I honestly don't even know where to start about Nelson Marban...best decision I could have possibly made was to work with this man and his amazing team to sell my house, and to buy my new one. His years of experience led to a level of expertise that gave me the utmost confidence in every bit of the process. I never hesitated to say to him, "whatever you think is best! I trust you" and he never let me down. I followed all of his advice, from repairs that I should make before selling to maximize profit, and maybe even more importantly, advice to NOT do a bunch of things that would have cost me SO much money & for no real return. He helped me to understand everything we were doing every step of the way, as I needed a lot of things explained to me in lay terms. Bottom line- I know I got the most for my house that I possibly could have due to all of his advice and actions, and I wound up in an amazing house in a great place, and I just couldn't be happier about all of it!!!! Thank you Nelson and team! I will ALWAYS recommend you. The best in the business....thank you so much for all you've done for me!!!!

I highly recommend Jason Mandel of Washington Fine Properties. Jason was extremely knowledgeable and patient as my fiancé and I looked at house after house. He helped us figure out what we wanted in a house, told us when he believed a house wasn't right for us, and taught us how to navigate each and every step. Most important, was that Jason was personable, fun to explore houses with, and made it seem like we were his number one priority at all times. His response time to any questions we had or any tasks with which we needed his help completing was extraordinary. We are grateful we stumbled upon Jason and our dream home is a constant reminder of his incredible efforts. Even more so, beyond a Real Estate agent, he quickly becomes a friend. It was a pleasure working with him and he is the first person I tell anyone looking to go to and will be the first call I make if I ever need to look for a new place in the future.
