Today I visited the 5701 Connecticut Avenue NW branch for the second time, the first time to deposit a check and the second time to get a cashier's check. Both times the teller I spoke with did not know how to do it, and no one at the branch was senior enough to authorize it. Both times they said they had to call another branch (where apparently no one was authorized the either) so they told me to wait another 45 minutes or use the atm. The second time I didn't stick around long enough for them to continue wasting my time. Save yourself the trouble.

After getting nowhere with the branch at Dupont Circle, Elida Guzman at Farragut North went out of her way to be sure our estate issue was taken care of. We only had one day in town, and she stayed past hours working with the Estate Care team to get our problem resolved. She is a true asset to Wells Fargo, and I'd highly recommend this branch. I wish I could remember the teller's name because that awesome young lady, as our first contact, was also very reassuring and competent, and as soon as we stepped into the branch and spoke with her, we were confident that they could help us. If you bank at Wells Fargo in the DC area, this is definitely the branch to go to.

Great experience with the teller at the Wells Fargo in Farragut Square. I was greeted immediately, there was no wait to be assisted, and my transaction was completed without being put off. I was also shown a new feature on my Wells Fargo app, so I really appreciated that. Will return to do banking here again.
