I had a problem and I did not know where to turn. I felt beat up by the system and clueless as to my next step. My mother had died and l was her estate exec. She had an account with WF and I tried via the phone to close the account and disperse the funds to the heirs. I tried for TWO years; pushed from office to office to office to office; asked for form after form after form…After two years I had had enough and walked into Washington’s Market Square Branch with a two inch thick file folder and threw myself on the mercy of someone in the Market Square office. My hero, my knight in shining armor, was and is Mr. Michael Lang. His kindness, his patience and his perseverance were absolutely amazing. WF should be proud of such a wonderful employee. I went in to ask for some financial advice and met with Mamoudou Diallo who went above and beyond to make sure I left with the needed information. I went in some skepticism but after meeting with him, I was nothing less than satisfied with the service. 5/5 across the board.

I honestly have to ask myself, why am I used to having a bad experience at Wells Fargo. I was told to go walk, 20 minutes to another Wells Fargo location because they had no teller!?! I don't understand how a bank cannot have a teller, 2 hours before they close in one of the busiest locations in DC ( this is at the Archives). I explained to the lady multiple times, my app and website were not working and asked if there was someone else to help me, instead she kept saying there is 2 others branches "down the street." After repeating myself four times, about the wire transfer not working on the app and also calling customer services for two days straight, someone was able to partially help me. My issue was not resolved and the guy tried to sell me a credit card on top of the ludacris experience of the front desk person telling me to walk 20 minutes to another Wells Fargo location. I am trying to find hope in staying a Wells Fargo customer. Is being rude and passive aggressive towards your customers part of your training?

I am leaving for a trip to Colombia l tomorrow morning and put in a last minute order for the Colombian Pesos. The bankers called me to let me know that it was ready for pick up the next day. I left work early to get to the bank in time to pick it up before they closed, but unfortunately ended up being just a couple mins late. The bankers saw me pulling on the locked door, sweaty, and out of breath from running from the metro, and opened the doors up for me to collect the currency so that I could have a safe trip and pay my driver for picking us from the airport in the morning.It would have been so easy for the three employees to simply shrug and tell me to go away, but they went above and beyond to help me in a time of need. I wish I would have gotten their names, but know that I am so so thankful! Absolutely stupendous customer service!

So I don't normally bank with Wells Fargo, but I was trying to open a credit card that is held by them. Unfortunately, Bilt has not figured out how to do it right, and wanted documents faxed over to them, however their fax numbers were not responsive.I walked into this Branch and was helped by Dukes Diallo. On the first day, he was also unable to get the fax to go through. However, over the course of the next two days, he worked on the issue and was eventually able to get Bilt to give him an alternate method to send the documents. All the while he called me to give me updates.I'm still waiting to see if Bilt fixes things on their end, but I will say that I'm very happy with my experience with this branch and their staff.

Branch manager D. Dialo was extremely rude. Did not want to service me for a 15 mins transaction because I showed up at 430. He explained that he could service me the next day because the one and only banker was assisting someone and that their transaction was going to be 45mins. I told him I didn’t mind waiting. He came back in 15 mins and told me I couldn’t be serviced because their systems were shutting down. While we are speaking the customer is leaving. I say, great perfect timing. I can be serviced. He said that just because the service was ending w previous customer, the banker still had work to do. All in all, he didn’t want to service me because I came later in the day. It’s not my fault that the branch was short staffed. He was very rude and didn’t not practice great customer service. He kept interrupting me. If this wasn’t a convenient branch for me, I would not return. If you’re the branch manager shouldn’t you know how to do all things banking?? I seriously doubt he was branch manager. He was sitting and socializing w the tellers when I came in!Edit: He actually was the manager, which to me is more despicable. He could've done more. His only solution was to come back. Not, let me get your started on your paperwork or let me assist you personally. I really don't care if I came in 4:59. I made it in before the bank closed. Service me.

If you ever wondered how a bank can get fined a billion dollars, just drop in and try to do business with the folks at this branch. They can literally smile to your face while they stab you in the back, all without missing a beat or breaking a sweat. Run, don't walk, to ANY other bank with your money.
