I cannot speak more highly of the customer service at this store. There was a slight mix up in my pickup order (I was given the wrong sized coffee table by mistake, they’re nearly identical save for the measurements). The staff did everything they could to fix the problem within 2 hours and went above and beyond.

Ordered bedding in the store. To be delivered. They must’ve gotten the codes all wrong because what arrived is hideous and not at all what I ordered (and paid for).

Very helpful staff, thanks Alice! Great furniture, although should be easier to exchange items that we got in the wrong size

Absolutely love this West Elm location. I made several purchases for my new apartment, all with the help of Cameron who is absolutely amazing. He spent over an hour with me helping pick out pieces and then went through a lengthy process on the phone with Capital One when I had technical issues signing up for the West Elm credit card. His colleague Anthony was also very nice and helpful with this. Cameron is outstanding - so kind and talented at what he does! Highly recommend this location and especially working with Cameron!

One of the anchors of a now trendy 14th street, I enjoyed this West Elm for its quality offerings and excellent staff. I had design help with an order that ran into some issues but my salesperson kept me apprised and managed my expectations. The furniture pieces have held up well. The store is two levels, bright and spacious. Clean bathrooms are on the 2nd floor. In tandem with some of the other stores in the area, this part of 14th street feels like “design ally” as there are a number of similar and complimentary stores in close proximity. If looking for reasonably priced apartment furniture, it’s one of a few not to be missed.

I purchased three pieces of furniture two weeks ago and have had huge problems with delivery, causing significant issues for my moving process. They didn't offer to price match or provide any compensation.

Wish the female sales associate was friendly, in any way, when trying to order dining chairs. She literally couldn’t care less if they sold anything.

We ordered a couch back in early December only to have the ordered cancelled on us in January because the factory who was supposed to custom build the couch ran out of the fabric we selected (which was “available” when we placed the order in store)
We had to go into a store again to check fabrics and colors that were “available” and make a new order. We made a new order and selected a smaller size sized than what we originally wanted because the system showed that this couch was in stock with a delivery between 1-5 weeks. We were
told that the couch was already at a warehouse (no need for custom building) - however we still had to wait so long and just got the couch last week… we did not have a good experience with the whole shipping / delivery process.
The couch and two swivel chairs we ordered are very nice and fit our aesthetics but the trouble and frustration we went through waiting was unexpected. Wish West Elm would improve in this area.
The staff in store who helped us were nice and attentive though.

We bought a solid wood outdoor table from West Elm that collapsed after only two years - and it collapsed an hour before we were hosting a huge party for children, which obviously could have been a complete tragedy. Thank goodness my children and others were not near the table when it happened. We used furniture covers during bad weather and it was solid wood, so this was a huge surprise. When we tried to raise the obvious safety issues with a giant solid wood table collapsing, they were completely dismissive and told us that we would need to sue them if we wanted them to address our concerns. We weren't even asking for any money back. I would just caution anyone against buying furniture from a company that does not care about safety.

Walking up fashionable and renovated 14th street, we dropped into a very upscale furniture store, 2 levels with a lot of very chic furniture. Lots of interested shoppers and it was well worth the tour. For those living or moving in the area, definitely worth to check out.

The representative from 14th st didn’t show up to the virtual design consultation, without my confirmation to cancel the meeting. They claimed that I had to come to the store instead, as “normally” they do virtual consultations only for furniture items (this is not true according to the form I filled out for the consultation request). Abd sadly this is bot the first time I am ditched by the reps of this store on my online consultation request - last time they cancelled last minute saying they were too busy.
More awkward part is that the rep mentioned in their email that they cannot provide advice on art work, because it is a personal taste. Excuse me, but anything and everything about furniture and decoration in fact is personal taste. So yes, I got this very dismissive email regardless and they don’t even show up to the appointment. So disappointing!

Customer service at this store is poor with unfriendly interactions. The service members act like they’re being bothered when asked for help.
