I wanted to start off by saying Mahalo ( Thank You in Hawaiian) to the Whole Foods Market for selecting the location. I will add images later as I was in a time crunch, but the store has the new car smell, lol. This is the location of Whole Foods Market that you must experience for yourself, as I have never met a more friendly& helpful team and it truly does allow patrons to truly leisurely shop and yes socialize with other neighborhood inhabitants. Calling All chefs or Home cooks, do yourself a favor and walk into the produce department and marvel in the freshest quality, its updated frequently, and I’m confident that if you found something out of sorts it would be addressed immediately and without incident. Bright, displayed and colorful produce. Whole Foods Market Well Done

I recently had a frustrating experience at Whole Foods, primarily due to the abysmal customer service provided by the Amazon Locker associate. It's disheartening when a supposedly premium grocery store falls short on basic service standards. My encounter with the Amazon Locker associate was nothing short of disappointing. Not only were they unhelpful, but they also displayed a complete lack of interest in assisting customers. When I approached them with a question about retrieving a package, they seemed more engrossed in their personal conversation than addressing my concern. It's concerning that such a crucial service point within the store is manned by someone who evidently lacks both professionalism and customer service skills. Moreover, the associate's knowledge about the Amazon Locker system was questionable at best. I left feeling more confused than when I arrived, as their explanations were vague and unhelpful. It's frustrating when you're relying on a service like this, and the person responsible for managing it appears indifferent and uninformed. This experience has left me questioning the overall commitment to customer service at Whole Foods. I expect better from a store that prides itself on providing a premium shopping experience. Until improvements are made in the Amazon Locker associate's demeanor and knowledge, I'm hesitant to rely on this service or recommend Whole Foods to others.

This is the newest WF store in DC and much welcomed in Upper NW for 16th St Heights, Brightwood, Shepherd Park, Colonial Village, and Takoma neighborhoods. The employees I've encountered are all extremely kind, professional, and actually care about helping you.The store is very neat, clean, and well-organized. This location quietly opened over 4th of July weekend 2023. Yet it's never crowded but still feels smaller than their Silver Spring, Friendship Heights, or Logan Circle locations. Probably similar in size to the Vienna, VA store.Underground parking garage is on Dahlia, a few feet as you enter from Georgia Ave. Follow signs inside garage to Whole Foods. Free 90 minute parking. Validation machines are across from self check-out.Amazon pick up/return. We've used this location for returns 3 times. All the reps were really nice and helpful. Amazon hours are different than the store's. I posted a photo showing them. This location offers delivery and curbside pick up.I give this location 5 stars because after having visited 10+ times since they opened in summer 2023. My husband I have never encountered a mean-spirited, grumpy, or clueless associate. The customer service at this location surpasses all locations in DC, Maryland, Virginia, PA, and NJ. The only stores which may have better service are those in Southern California. My only criticism is that the produce section seems smaller than other store's. For instance, I've never found arugula or radicchio here. Also, the bakery never has St. Germain baguette (the best 1 imho) which frustrates me because it's the only baguette of theirs that we love. I hope these items will soon be regularly in stock. On a final note, I have no idea why Whole Foods Market requires an armed DC Metro Police officer in full tactical gear. It makes me extremely nervous AND I do not believe a city, town, or county police force should be wearing their city/town/county police uniform when working for non-city/town/county business. They should not be using the same firearm when working a second job either.

Love this Whole Foods - conveniently located, spacious, clean and very friendly/helpful staff. Had one issue and the manager, Jeremy (sorry if I misspelled it), genuinely cared and was quick to address it. The great management shows.

This is one of the nicer Whole Foods locations in the city. Very clean, spacious, well stocked. The staff actually treated you like family. They went above and beyond when my phone died while shopping. They offered me and charger and ensured I was well taken care of. My only problem was I didn’t get the names of the two helpful people at customer service that day. Overall great experience! Thank you!

Real nice and neat. I like the wine selectionsJust minutes from downtown Silver spring. Good alternative to buy wine since county liquor stores close at 5pm on Sundays in Maryland.

Went in Labor Day evening and there was no option to get service from a cashier at check out. I bought too many items thus it took me too long to scan each item out. I felt like that’s a waste of my time. Please staff the store with an available cashier at all times for those customers that are making bigger purchases. Self checkout should be a convenient option, not the only option.

So happy for this Whole Foods. The Silver Spring location left much to be desired (helpfulness or lack thereof of staff, vacant shelves, overcrowded parking, people eating off the bar with their fingers, and wait to checkout). This new Whole Foods has easy parking. The layout is easy. Yet to experience it crowded. Appreciate the vegan sushi options. Deducted a star for two reasons: 1) expired products aren’t being pulled off the shelf. Could be a product of not being that busy yet, but employees should be pulling expired products. I went today and found multiple items that had expired. If shopping, check the dates. 2. On numerous occasion (I’ve gone at least once a week since they opened) cashiers haven’t bagged my groceries. On a recent visit I had brought one bag, but clearly needed more. To help, I bagged and then stopped when I filled the bag. However, at no time did the cashier bag. After finishing ringing me up they. Egan to clean the station. Only after another minute did they ask if I needed more bags. Never once offering to help bag themselves. Sorry, at this price point, and when there is no one else in line, cashiers should be bagging.
