These people don't even bother to filter their water that they make coffee with. They make it out D.C. tap water straight out of the tap ! D.C. water has a long reputation for being highly toxic bad water. When i told the owner that he is making coffee with "toxic bad water " he dismissed me as a fool and took the next customer.Go drink toxic coffee if you want to , but i value my health !They also serve stevia with ethritol.Ethritol is know to cause blood clotting and heart attacks.Doubt me ! Just Google and see for yourself !

Nice local corner store across from the park. Coffee and to-go options. Friendly people and convenient! I do wish they had more fresh food options (soups, salads, sandwiches, etc.) and not only grab-n-go items.

The service is kind and prompt! They make it the best coffee in the area that I've tried so far. Also the outside seating area is wonderful if the weather is nice!

I moved to the area in March 2023. When I discovered this place, I was thrilled. It reminds me of being back in Brooklyn, NY. It is such a cute neighborhood shop with great coffee, gourmet sandwiches, baked goods, other provisions, etc...I am in love with their tuna salad!! I love how they know me when I walk in...great customer service!

Nice place to have a coffee but the guy working there yesterday needs to attend a barista course, he served us lattes that were boiling hot and there were a severe risk of burning yourself by drinking it.

I didn’t get anything because they are charging $1.50 to add non-dairy milk to your coffee.I decided to get coffee elsewhere. It’s really disappointing to see coffee shops still doing this.

Wine & Butter is the perfect cafe spot on Capitol Hill. The service is friendly and welcoming and the coffee and pastries are fresh and delicious. Their curated wine selection is meticulously chosen and of high quality.

Coffee and a croissant while people watching across from Lincoln Park? Sign me up! The seating out front feels just like a French cafe.Wine and Butter is perfect for a morning coffee gab sesh with friends. Or grab one of the baguette sandwiches (The Hermoine is my fav) for a nice lunch in the park. Or if you’re making a charcuterie board and need something special, they have you covered.I live in Cap Hill so this is a go-to for me, but worth the trip for anyone in the city.

Wine & Butter is the best neighborhood cafe ever! Their coffee is great, the food is wonderful too. They have a great selection of wine and snacks to go as well. They are also super dog friendly and always have treats and water for the dogs. The ambiance is amazing as well -- a little sidewalk cafe feels like you're in Europe. I go here many days a week - highly recommend :)

Adorable spot! Definitely get the iced coffee with oat milk. My favorite coffee in DC. Tip: you order your food from the little window and have to go into the market to get it (self serve).

This cafe is my absolute favorite. Wonderful service and great ambience next to a quaint park. The side window where you can order your drinks is so cute!
