I went in looking for rice cakes and I looked up there was a aisle sign rice cakes .I went down the aisle found the item and off to the check out to pay for the items.I was out in 8to 10 minutes and acme market was a good help.I stopped in for rice cakes and they turned out to cost .50cents more than food lion,

I am extremely disappointed with this Acme. My husband went to pick up some items for dinner. As he proceeded to checkout and pay for his items there apple pay reader was having issues. Now what they don't know is I myself was just there a week prior and they told me their machine was having issues with apple pay. I just paid with my psychical card. My husband tonight on the other hand, did not have the same experience. The rude unprofessional cashier said to my husband " do you even have on there'? EXCUSE ME? Unbeknownst to her I was in his ear on the phone. My husband makes 6 figures lady! How insulting!! Anyway, he said of course I have money is there something wrong with your machine? Another unprofessional comes up to him and says " ARE YOU TRYING TO USE WIC"? Umm NO! WE ARE TRYING TO PAY WITH VISA! UNBELIEVABLE!! So another cashier says she will ring him up in the customer service line. Ok, fine.. When he walks over she literally said it just does that sometimes. We've been having issues with our reader with apple pay. That's all fine and dandy.. But why was my husband humiliated in the store for a problem your store is CLEARLY AWARE OF!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!! After holding up a line due to no fault of his own, he left and simply ordered the food through uber eats and had it delivered with the same card your reader couldn't read. My husband deserves an apology from someone, management or something. Teach your staff the proper way to handle these situations. Yelling out do you even have money on your card is unacceptable! I manage a team of 50 ppl. They all reflect me! Make your staff aware of technical issues so that they can be handled properly! I'm glad I wasn't there. You will not embarrass me because of your mistake! Train your staff, they are unprofessional and rude!

I'm appalled at the service I received when picking up a prescription for my wife. The HEAD PHARMACIST did NOT do his job. My wife has asthma, was prescribed a new inhaler neither of us had ever seen before. She has almost died twice due to her asthma. I tried to figure out how to put the inhaler together, I couldn't figure it out. I drove back to the acme savon pharmacy, with the inhaler and directions in tears. I was panicked because I didn't ask questions when I had first picked them up. The head pharmacist Jake G. Who I picked the script up from the first time was there, I put the script on the counter, with the directions, told him I could NOT figure out what to do with the contraption. He put the inhaler together and handed it back to me and said "you just didn't put the medicine in deep enough, now just read the directions and you got it." So I figured he fixed it, all I had to do was to have my wife open and inhale the medication. I get out to the car to give my wife the dose, only to realize the button that you push to dispense said medication wasn't popped out to be able to push and receive the medication. As the HEAD PHARMACIST if someone comes in and tells you they don't know how to use the contraption, you are supposed to fully EXPLAIN how to use said contraption. I was panicked at this point, ended up figuring out the inhaler just in time. So I called the pharmacy to find out who and when the head pharmacist would be in...only to find out who "helped" me, WAS THE HEAD PHARMACIST. That man, not doing his job as he was trained to do his job, could have cost me my wife's life over his lack of competence with his "profession". That is UNACCEPTABLE and I want that man reprimanded. When I spoke to Mr Jake whomever his last name is and found out he was the head pharmacist, I lost my mind, screamed, yelled, and cussed him out. Tomorrow morning I will be going IN PERSON to see the store manager Bucky to also complain about the incompetent pharmacist he has employed. This Jake guy could have very well have cost me my wife's life. She could have died! I want that man fired. I will be contacting any and EVERYONE I need to, to make that happen. I will also contact local and national media if need be. This negligence is unacceptable and life threatening, and needs to be handled immediately!Side note: can't figure out why food is so expensive in acme, but not any other supermarket?

Absolutely ridiculous customer service!!! Arrived around 7:35 and proceeded to the seafood cabinet in the back of the store... ran into the worker of this area asked him if the steamer was on still? He replied that it was just shut down and then my family and I proceeded to attempt to buy some frozen crab legs but were told we couldn't because there wasn't anyone capable of weighing or packaging one of the most expensive items of food the store offers (do they truly offer it though?) All of this information was presented from the manager... we live right across the street and have been coming here for years but will no longer be spending our money at this establishment! If I could give it minus stars I would!!!!

It’s neat and clean, nice meat options .The cashier guy was very nice but damn it’s expensive in there lol. Guessing that’s the price we pay for neat, clean, variety, and customer service. Either way I’ll be back.

I swear it doesn't matter what acme I go to there is always a problem. How does your WIC not abide by the Delaware WIC program. I'm eligible for a 32oz container of yogurt and none of the eligible brands would work except a random yoplait tube yogurt. Wasted my whole moring for nothing. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is for the workers because they were at least nice and tried to help. But acme as a whole sucks on most occasions anymore.

The most expensive grocery store around. Only buy things when they are on sale and still check the prices elsewhere before buying at Acme. Aisles are crowded with stuff, so only one direction for traffic ?They do have good deals, but you need to be smart about it.

Everything is fine ? as long as you don't want something from the "cold-cuts" department. I don't like rude personal ?. Otherwise, I can't complain about freshness and variety.
