Sadly this place is fast becoming typical of what happens to businesses when the owner is not able to attend . Have been here several times and you can tell from the conversations that there is a preferred type of clientele they like to serve but I decided to ignore it in the past. People don’t realize that body language alone actually shows you what’s going on in the other persons head. Today I called to book an appointment and Debbie told me they had no appointments available for at least two months and that many of their clients were going elsewhere because there are only two of them working ( owner is sick ) , so many of their customers are booking elsewhere to get their hair done. “ There are only so many haircuts we can do in ten hour a day “ I was told. The conversations don’t make you feel like booking an appointment with her and in fact it’s like she was indirectly advising me to go elsewhere . It’s sad to say I will not be going back here again because I got the message and I will go where people are valued and wanted regardless of who their origins. Complacency and personal beliefs carried into the work place breeds contempt for customers and that cannot be good for any business.

I’ve known Lydia for 50 years and not only is she one of the best hairstylist I know but she is the most sweetest person on the planet, her laughter is contagious and she immediately makes you feel welcome. Added bonus to talent, she’s the most beautiful Christian I’ve ever known. PS I won’t let anybody else cut my hair but Lydia! Highly talented and would never do a haircut or color on someone if she knows for certain it will hurt your hair or if you will be unhappy with it! Very kind and generous as well.
