Terrible customer service. The person who answers the phone has an attitude and does not care about you as a patient or human being. I had an appointment but waited 40 minutes to be seen. The opto tech was polite and lovely to deal with. The doctor was also professional but obviously stretched thin on time. The person at the checkout desk was also lovely. I do not plan on returning to this practice due to the attitude of the receptionist and due to the wait. There are plenty of other eye doctors in the area who employ more professional staff and who do not overbook their providers.

I never make complaints, but I’ve been waiting for my glasses since December of 2023. I was initially told they would be ready in two weeks. We are at the end of February, going on March. Really, it’s the lack of customer service that is making this worse. I call and no one can give me any updates. They put me on hold for 30+ minutes and never pick the phone back up. I’ve been promised numerous call backs that never happen. I’ve never experienced worse customer service in my life. I’m not being treated like a paying customer. Even going in person didn’t work. They told me they would look into it and call me back, but they never did. You would think I’ve gotta be the rudest, nastiest customer they’ve ever had the way that they’re dodging me, but I’m being so patient. Especially for someone who has already paid in full- which is my fault. I feel robbed. I just want my glasses so I can never have to worry about coming back here again.UPDATE: It is 03/13/24 and I have just received my glasses that I paid for and picked out on 12/30/23. I received a refund after advocating for myself. It’s great being able to see. I hope that no one else goes through this with this establishment, and that they work out their issues with the lab and improve on their customer service. The goal should be to be proactive, not reactive because you’ve got a bad review.

Would definitely recommend. Everyone was really nice. The eye Dr was very thorough and took the time to answer my questions. Brandi R. was extremely helpful in working with me order my glasses. MUCH cheaper than I was anticipating.

Everyone is great except that girl who goes over the pricing. I was looking at glasses and overheard her co-worker making a joke, and she was so mean. she needs to loosen up. I understand glasses are different prices with different added. but make the customer comfortable. she is too stiff. she needs a snicker.

I had an unpleasant experience with a doctor last year at this facility and I vowed never to return. The doctor that saw me last year was extremely stern in her attitude and mannerisms and never smiled or showed any signs of being friendly and interested in me as a patient. Since this office was within walking distance of my home I made an appointment to see a different doctor and I was introduced to a smiling and friendly Dr. Adams...what a huge difference in the way that I was treated. However, I had enormous problems with the sales team because they dropped the ball on assisting me with a consultation for cataract surgery. I made several calls inquiring about my consultation and I only received two calls back and they were unproductive. I finally found a doctor ON MY OWN,made an appointment but the sales team still hadn't faxed the results of my exam to the eye specialist. I went into the office and a lovely woman,Jenae,the RECEPTIONIST faxed my results to my upcoming consultation. Unprofessional sales team upholding my consultation by THREE WEEKS. I'll be lucky if I can have my cataract surgery before next summer as most facilities are booked solid for months. Thank you Dr. Adam's and Jenae for the professional way I was treated by the two of you. Your sales team leaves a huge black mark in your facility and I'm praying that I won't ever have to deal with them again! Another unpleasant experience at Myeyedoctor in Bear....

I don’t leave reviews often but I had to for MyEyeDr. I made my mom a same day appointment for the Bear location and saw some of the reviews could be better, talking about how the staff wasn’t that nice, but we needed the appointment that day. The girl at the front desk was super kind to us and everyone that walked in after us, the tech Angela was super kind and patient (my mom has trouble walking so it takes us a while to get from point a to point b), Dr Boyland was so kind and helpful, both the Dr and tech were very patient with my mom and getting the most accurate script for her. And lastly, the girl that helped us pick out glasses was phenomenal. My mom went to another eye doctor and got swindled into purchasing a $700 pair of glasses she couldn’t afford so I made sure to help her pick out the glasses. She likes her frames and wanted to just put new lenses in them, I was expecting the woman to push us to pick out a pair of frames to get the sale and she didn’t at all! Nor did she try and upsell my mother on things that she didn’t need. The patience, care, and kindness of all the staff we met with was unmatched and truly made for a wonderful experience!

A young man by the name of Matt assisted me at the Bear location. He was professional, very accommodating and did not leave me until all my needs were met. He’s also a great multitasker. I highly recommend My Eye Dr in Bear!!! Kudos!!!

Was in and out very quickly! Brandi was amazing! Looked to be a little short staffed and she was handling multiple clients at once and really taking control to help everyone! Then she told me she was new! Wow!!

Called to make my daughter an appointment, GREAT we set up the appointment. Next get the link to confirm her appointment because it's coming up in the next couple days, EASY click on the link to confirm. The day before her app get a text saying we can't wait to see you at YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. Day of scheduled appointment I get told because I didn't confirm over the phone and talk to an actual person I would have to reschedule for another time!!! Wtf is the purpose for the links if they don't mean anything!!! Looking for new eye doctor!!!

Worst vision store ive ever been to. Ill NEVER go here again and im going to tell all of my friends to not go here!!! How do you have to go in and sign a waiver for your own personal info?? How do you only have one color tint? Why do you have to pay in full before you get your glasses? I don't like anything about my experience. NEVER AGAIN!!
