The pharmacy sucks. I needed a refill of a medication and they're usually out of stock. I was trying to beat having to sit in their long drive thru line in Friday. They told me yesterday that it was too early for a refill and that I would have to wait for today. I called early this morning and they said they would have it processed within a hour and a half. I go on the app and it was delayed. I called and the girl tells me they're out of stock. If I had driven over there and wasted my gas I would have been really pissed. I love the one pharmacist, Shawn, but the rest of the pharmacy personnel suck. They take their good old sweet time at the drive thru but I have a disability and can't stand for long periods of time. When I went to different pharmacies in Philly they were NEVER out of stock for my medication. I no longer work up there so I'm SOL. The stuff in the store is overpriced and isn't worth going in anyway. And whatever you're looking for is always out of stock. It's best just to go to CVS or Rite aid.

It's pretty frustrating how much this Walgreens changes their hours. They say they're 24 hours but constantly come and waste my time and gas just to find out they're closed. This has happened to me many times now. Maybe don't advertise that you're a 24 hour Walgreens

Wish I could give it zero stars they close the store randomly at night because they choose not to work with customers even though there's three employees in the store one is a girl with bright red hair and then you have two younger adults with her and they're just goofing off rather than actually working but they lock the doors. Sign says 24hrs

THE WORST. Do not come here if you can help it. Went to med express.. Dr called in a script. My app said be ready by 7:20pm. I SAT IN THE LOT AND WAITED 1.5 hours for them to say oh sorry, I won't be ready til later!!! If they're behind that's fine.. just say something. Don't have people freaking waiting. Ridiculous.

I have been going to this Walgreens for over 20 years. Even when it was called Happy Harrys I was satisfied and never complained. I sat in the drive-thru line from 950 to 1027. I get tonthe window to just pick up my blood pressure meds and the pharmacist did not say hello or can I help you. I got we are closed...sorry. . I said I have been waiting in this line and you should make customers waiting in line to fill a prescription pull around so people who are picking up can get their meds and go. The pharmacist did not care about me or my needs, just said sorry again. Sorry does not help me when I am picking up my meds. I was truly disappointed in the service I received tonight. What if the meds were needed in a critical situation, I would have been sent home to die. Not the type of Walgreens I want and I may need to go elsewhere. Area managers need to do surprise inspections during peak hours or be secret shoppers to see how this store operates.

Thank you for having decent prices on first aid! I came for the gauze and bandaids and got a nice bandage wrap and pack of large bandaids for under $6

Pharmacist was just completely rude!!! She sounded as if she didn't want to be there and rushed our conversation. I was unable to ask her any questions pertaining to my prescription. Just rude. I'm definitely switching my pharmacy. That was the last straw.

I went to browse their hair products and was disappointed to find that all of their Black hair products have stickers on them that say electronically monitored for theft. Very few of their other hair products have this sticker. I've never seen this type of thing at other walgreens in the area. I will not be shopping at this location anymore.

This is the worst customer service I ever experienced and the worst part it's 24hrs. They always seem to have some type of employee issues that needs a little meeting at the front register. This is the type of location you should be able to pop in and out of. They never have enough staff to stock and help customers. This make you have to wait even when the store drama doesn't need 3 employees in a huddle. I hate this store but after 10 it's about the only thing open .

Just left Walgreens in Bear,DE rt. 7 & 40 Was not very happy about the service, waiting for a prescription, as always, then the employee who waited on me was wearing a mask ( not even covering his nose ) pulled down with " the black fist logo on it " which I did not think was appropriate since he was working, so I asked him, what was the purpose of the mask with the logo, he got all defensive, ( first all I wanted was to be educated about the meaning, that logo is fifty years old, just wanted to understand if it meant what it did fifty years ago) why get defensive, do you not want to explain your meaning of wearing it. He, who was not wearing a name tag, yet had about 4 other things hanging around his neck showing his cause, Africa painted red, black and green for one, then he called the manager over and asked for the next customer, so I stepped to the side, waited for the manager who was on the phone, waited 2 -3 minutes, all the time I was there, he kept giving me the evil eye, whispering things I could not hear. Not very professional Walgreens

Since the Walgreens near my house was closed, I have been forced to use the Walgreens on Pulaski Highway in Bear. I was a frequent visitor to the store for inside purchases but never had any need to use the pharmacy. Since the closing of the New Castle store, I have had to rely on the Bear store for prescriptions and, I have to say, the service is really bad. There are always lines inside the store at the pharmacy, and even longer lines at the drive thru. The first time I needed to get a prescription, it took two days to get it filled, and then several trips to the store because of the long wait times....this month was no exception...I even use the APP to confirm refills which I thought would save time, but it's not any faster once you have to deal with the store directly. The drive through should NOT be used to get prescriptions filled...it should be DROP OFF or PICK UP only...not sit in the car outside the window to wait for it. This level of service is insane...I had thought it was just because of the other store closing, but after looking at the reviews for the past year, I see it has ALWAYS been this bad...they should have closed THIS STORE and kept the other one open! Poor management & insufficient resources to service customers. Even calling in the complaint on the phone had me on hold for over 30 minutes! I will go to Rite Aid or CVS before I ever use Walgreens again.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a pharmacy. After waiting in the phone queue for 10+ minutes, someone answered and put the phone down and I could hear them as they served customers. I was calling to deal with an emergency regarding an insulin prescription. So I was trapped. I ended up having to call the store manager from a second line, to get them to walk over and force someone to pick up the phone they put down. And then I was given the runaround by the pharmacist, who told me my doctor was wrong and my insurance company was lying to me, when the error was the pharmacy's error. Getting transferred to a manager, the phone just hung up after ringing non-stop for a few minutes. My insurance company then called. And was hung up on 3 times. This was an emergency too, for a medication that I can't go without. These people are negligent, rude and I would say if you value your health avoid this pharmacy at all costs.

Would be zero stars if possible. 24 hour pharmacy? Called and was on hold for 20 minutes. Hung up and drove 15 miles to the store arrived at 8:45 am. Two employees behind the pharmacy counter. One person on line checking out at the pharmacy counter. I had to endure the conversation about what time the employees left the day before before being acknowledged, about two minutes. Handed the prescription to the employee, who promptly(without looking at the prescription) asked if I would be coming back to pick the prescription up. There was nobody waiting and three cars in the parking lot. I asked how long. At least an hour was the reply. ( this is on 1/4/20, a Sunday morning) for a non opioid pain medication. To my knowledge, this is not a compounding pharmacy which i believe means all someone has to do is locate the medication, count out 20 pills, place them in a vial, place the vial in a bag, and accept my payment. An hour wait and another 30 miles in the car is unacceptable. I retrieved my script and left. Please dont waste your time at this location. To do so would promote poor service and in my humble opinion a P.O.S. company.

I switched to this Walgreen's because it was closer to my new apartment. I have had nothing but problems. They have not filled prescriptions for eye drops, antibiotic, pain medication always claiming they never received the fax from Dr. office. On Sunday I reviewed a text message to automatically refill one of my prescriptions. I messaged to auto refill. Was informed by text they would contact Dr. for authorization and could pick up medication Monday anytime after 8 am. Waited Monday. Nothing. So I called the medication in to the auto system on Tuesday. No refill Tuesday. Wednesday morning I called auto system and was informed there was no prescription for me and none pending. I tried calling Pharmacy and was on hold 10 minutes, only for them to pick up and inform me to please hold. I'd had it by then. I called Walgreens customer service and spoke to a nice lady named Connie. I told her the problems I was having and that I would not be returning to this Walgreens. I called my old Walgreens in Middletown and within one hour this medication is filled and ready for pickup. Thumbs up Middletown. Thumbs down Bear
