Terrible service. The candy kitchen down the boardwalk has much nicer staff. Will not go to this one again.

Update: We went to Candy Kitchen on the Bethany Beach Boardwalk last week and I asked about allergens. They looked at me blankly, then said they can't give out any information like that because they can't be responsible for cross-contamination. Many of their packages don't have ingredients listed, either. I've rarely been to a store or restaurant that flatly refused to even try to work with me on this. I left without buying anything, which was so disappointing. Candy Kitchen, what happened to the allergen statements you had a few years ago?

We've been in the area vacationing for a few days -Rehoboth, Bethany, Fenwick, Lewes, etc -and it seems that every time we turn a corner we see the kaleidoscopically splendor a Candy Kitchen Shoppes colorful storefront. Now I know why -- it seems there are 23 of them spread around in this neck of the woods. Their color scheme is gorgeous with eye popping pastel blues, pinks, oranges, reds and yellows. The store's interior is just as eye pleasingly gorgeous. We picked up two amazing chocolate candy coated pretzels and a small box of chocolate toffee squares at decent prices. If you're ever near the Delaware beaches, you can't miss one of their stores, and you will enjoy picking up a few sweet treats, trust me on that.

Kandy Kitchen has been a favorite for decades. We buy taffy and fudge there every time we come to Bethany. A great treat for all ages.

Overcharged for a pound of fudge and when questioned was told the half pound was .54. Which it was but signs clearly stated one pound was 14.99. We were charged for two half pounds.

Good selection of gummies and chocolates. Gummies are sold by the 1/4 lb- were were able to choose 3 varieties per 1/4 lb which as nice so I could mix things up. Chocolate peanut butter covered Oreos were also good, as were chocolate covered Grahams and pretzels with m&ms. We wanted to get some regular gum, but they only had gum balls. Also had some cute toys and stuffed animals, nice Pez selection. Kids enjoyed their time there.

I'm a tourist staying in a beach resort and enjoying the Bethany Beach area with my family. I stopped by to get my grandchild some cotton candy, which was overpriced at $5.99 for a tiny container. There were several ladies behind the counter and the check out line was long, and stayed that way for far too long. None of them were working!!! All just standing around while the customers waited. I squeezed a rubber chicken and was yelled at.....ONE SQUEEZE.....excuse me? Rude and incompetent, nasty girls.....even the ladies at the frozen custard stand remarked how nasty the candy girls are. Hope your boss sees this and retrains all of you. Shameful and a real sales turnoff.....😡
