“I've been trying like hell for an entire week to get my husband's prescriptions filled. On June 19, I called Walgreens, got the run around, a ton of lies, and lazy staff. June 24 I went up after being assured they had received the scripts from Rite aid ... Was lied to, called rite aid who said that they sent them and they resent them. Walgreens then printed them ... Yeah, they had received them. They refused to fill them for several hours. I didn't have the gas to come back for Necessary, Potentially Life or Death Medication and it was their screw up. My husband is an epileptic and seizures can be deadly, causing cardiac arrest.

I tried switching to Hometown Drug Pharmacy - Walgreens didn't send all the scripts in retaliation because I told the other customers about how little regard they have for life. This pharmacy refused to call for the missing scripts. They also said they weren't taking new customers (???).

I called and asked Walmart for help... And they went above and beyond for my husband and I in getting his medications. They even made sure to call the doctor to help us! They were able to get all but four meds - two Rite Aid had but failed to tell us that they had the refill so he didn't have them in awhile (and was doing better without), and two he is going to see the prescriber in a few days anyway.

Walmart actually cared enough to help get an epileptic his anti seizure medications, unlike Walgreens or Hometown Drug Pharmacy after he ran out several days ago. I hope that he doesn't have a seizure while we wait for his levels to come back up - but that would definitely not be the fault of Walmart!
