Food from Deli was iffy and it was obvious some things were past their prime so to speak. Store looked like it was stuck in 1980. I only rlly gave this place 1-star because the vacuums at the car wash cost money. Every other car wash I’ve been to those were complimentary. Do not confuse this review as one for the GE Hockers or the sporting goods and hardware store, both of those locations are great and I would recommend.

Gas on the worst weather night, 60mph winds, raining. They turn off the credit card machines and make you go inside- that's what their employees said. No credit cards during the rain. REALLY???????????

I am frequently surprised that this locally owned store seems to always have everything we need. Quite often they feature sales or specials which are a bonus paired with the great customer services I always receive.I don't mind paying a few cents more when a place if staffed with adequate and friendly people.

So came into the store after ordering fried chicken, mashed Potatos with beef gravy and Mac & cheese. Called the order in, they said 20 minutes. I gave them 25 minutes before coming in. Once inside and at the deli, there was only one person in front of me. I paid for the meal and waited another 20 minutes, unacceptable wait for this. I saw people milling around in the back, two or three other employees in the kitchen. I thought they were making my order fresh. When I mentioned that I was waiting quite awhile, and two other persons who were behind me got served first, I mentioned this to the older woman. She then proceeded to go behind the counter and got the food, however this was not what I thought I was waiting for. Total disappointment on my end. When I took it home, found that the chicken was ok but not the best I had from elsewhere and the mac & cheese was plain with no taste and the potatos tasted like instant potatoes. From proximity to this location, I would be best served from Anthony's on OC or Southside deli in Ocean Pines. Worth the drive, but never here again.

A little pricey but all in all a great little grocery store. Also they have a smaller convenience store with gas station and they serve awesome food and ice cream.

Good produce, and found bathroom towels which I was looking for. They also had clothes. Although the whole place smelled like seafood.

Ridiculous wait for food. Totally unacceptable. It's consistently taking over 20 mins for 1 breakfast sandwich. Especially weekends. Used to he my spot, but it doesn't seem like they care.

This is really three stores in one.It's a full service grocery store with some things you can't get at Giant.It's a garden center with all the basics you might need for your house, lawn, or garden. They obviously don't have the selection of a major chain retail store, but do have what you need.It's also a pretty decent hardware store for anything basic you might need and some more specialized products you will be surprised they carry.It also has a pretty good fishing section that can get you going, or supply you for your special trip, fresh water or salt, not bad.They also have a small boot/shoe section as well as some clothes, tshirts, hats, bbq tools, etc..Really a one stop shop if ever there was one.

I recently purchased a pair of XTRTUF boots from Hocker's Grocery, and I must say that my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. Three weeks ago, I paid for the boots in cash, unfortunately, I no longer had the receipt. To my dismay, the boots started leaking water on the very first day I wore them to work.When I approached the staff at Hocker's Grocery with my concern, hoping for a refund or at least an exchange, I was met with an unwillingness to assist. Despite explaining the issue and my lack of receipt, they were unhelpful and refused to provide any resolution.The lack of customer service and unwillingness to stand by their products is deeply frustrating. As a loyal customer, I expected better treatment and support from Hocker's Grocery. It is disheartening to see a company that doesn't value its customers or take responsibility for the quality of its merchandise.

Independent grocer where produce is really fresh. But butcher area employees won't cut anything for you even if you offer to pay. Trying to figure out why they call themselves butchers. Hmmmmm. When they have a sale though it is worth the drive to stock up on meats. Their chicken prices are good too. Their produce is fresh and plentiful. They are high on somethings; low on others Overall, this is a decent grocery store
