I gave them 2 stars because yes they rebuilt the transmission but in the process of fixing it miraculously my motor mount cracked! My vehicle did not sound like that even after my vehicle went down for the count due to my tranny going!! While doing some digging in which the transmission can be rebuilt without touching the motor mounts BUT it isf not careful enough you can CRACK the mount! It’s just shocking that after something like a transmission is “fixed” that nothing else you hear or feel that is noticeable would make you ponder on what else is wrong with the vehicle!! Especially since the vehicle is in your possession!! I deal with customers as well and if something pops up I’m letting them know before anything is picked up or finalized!! Whether or not if the mount is new or old that doesn’t give AAMCO the right to put it on the “Mechanic” when AAMCO is the one and last one that worked on it! In addition, Ford had my car before them and conducted Diagnostics for the entire car and never stated I had a cracked motor mount! The crazy thing is Aamco performed the same test and …… didn’t know if I had a cracked motor mount!!???! Very unusual! Part of that is a visual look at everything! I mean my vehicle was at there shop for almost a week! Basically, I was bamboozled in thinking my car was going to be fixed and be back to normal was actually my car was fixed and while being fixed something else broke/cracked whatever and now my vehicle sounds like crap! That’s not cool. No, I will never use Aamco again! No I will not recommend Aamco to anyone! Thanks but no thanks. $5500 im out of and that’s not okay!

I am so happy AAMCO finally sent my car (Mazda 6) to this location. After having my car at another terrible location the headquarters sent my car here to have them fix a ton of mistakes another AAMCO made and this place was able to fix it all in a timely manner and get me back on the road again. They were very professional and caring of my time as well which I really appreciated after the nightmare I had just previously dealt with. THANK YOU!!

Took my 2013 ML 350 to them to get a new transmission put in. They charged me $185 to “diagnose it.” Called me to tell me the exact same thing that I told them was the problem. (Had it looked at by a mechanic already”) Did not give me anything on paper for the so-called diagnosis. Proceeded to tell me it was gonna be $12,000 for a new transmission or $11,200 to rebuild it! I go online and I can literally buy a used transmission with 66,000 miles for $1100. They clearly wasted my time and tried to take advantage of me. I picked up my car and I’m gonna have someone else put it in for less than half of what they quoted me.

DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE ABOUT FREE CURTESY DIAGNOSTIC!!! FULL OF IT!!! These men were very rude and disrespectful to me! They did not explain any policy to me which caused a lot of problems and had the audacity to hang up the phone 3 times in my ear because they were wrong! They did absolutely nothing with my vehicle after an entire day and repeated the same issues I explained I was having when I dropped it off! I have a whole list from another shop of things wrong with my vehicle so for them to tell me nothing else was wrong with it and the “GAG” is Oh and it’s going to cost $185 to take things apart is crazy because none of that was done with the previous mechanic he thoroughly checked ALL AROUND MY VEHICLE AND DROVE IT AND GAVE ME A LIST OF THINGS FREE OF CHARGE! So yeah these guys obviously dont know what they are doing at this place and the unprofessional behavior was completely out of line! I guess because I was a female they thought they could treat me any way! So I would NEVER recommend this company to a soul!

I dropped my car off 10/23 due to it shifting hard. I had the Trans rebuilt here in April so it is under warranty and I believe the hard shifting had to do with the Trans. i had to wait until the end of the week for them to try and diagnose it and after several days they said they could not duplicate the symptoms and I would need to come and take someone for a ride and show them. the day this was to happen they say they got it to do it and in needs a new transfer case it's not the transmission. i gave them the go ahead to order one and begin the work when it arrived. once it arrived i had to get back in que for several more days to wait for them to install the transfer case and finally got a call that it was fixed, running well and ready to be picked up on 11/10. I went there paid them $1490 and left with my car. I did not make it half way home and it began the hard shifting again. aamco was closed at this time so I returned the car the following day 11/11 and they said they would look into it. the following day was Friday and someone called off so the would look at it and get back to me Monday. they have had my car for 3 weeks at this point and I go thru my work week thinking they are fixing it and call them today 11/17 and they tell me they couldn't get it to duplicate the systems again and I will have to come drive someone and show them the problem. I tell them that they could have called me any of the last 5 days and told me that, that they have had my car almost a full month now and a whole week since they said they would look into it Monday. I go there take a guy for a ride and get it to duplicate the hard shifting and he tells me while he understands I think it feels like a hard shift it's because I am "flooring" the accelerator. I was at no more than 20% power trying to duplicate the symptoms they could not duplicate in a week's time. and I did, in 15 minutes. by the end of the ride he suggests I put a higher octane gas in it for a tank and hope it gets better not worse. I once again explain this is the same issue I dropped it off almost a month ago and paid $1490 to fix and he once again tells me to "hope it gets better not worse" and just keep driving it. you guys had my car for 25 days, charge me $1490 dollars to fix an issue that still persists and all you can tell me is hope it gets better and not worse, this is terrible. and on top of it all how you just would keep making me wait in line over and over for the same issue like my time isn't valuable. wait to diagnose, then wait my to to fix it, then wait again when it wasn't fixed. 25 days and $1490 later and I'm still in the same situation.

Best price I could find, fastest turn-around time, and great employees! Couldn't ask for anything more. Not my first time using Aamco and those are a few of the reasons why. From tow truck - back to work in a few days.
Thanks!
