September 2023 by Lvcnqrsnthng_45 Hi
I had my children enrolled in both centers for Thirst to Learn from 2005 when it was a different location up until my last child started school. I have never had a bad experience with the owner, Ms.Linda. She’s always been loving, kind and very professional. My children still go visit as adults because they love Ms. Linda. She’s very nurturing. When people are unhappy with a no or when being redirected, it can make for a bad review. However, I’ve known her for over 35 yrs and it’s been amazing having her watch, nurture, teach and help grow my kids.

I had my little one here for a while and I loved it. I’m happy with the activities and amount of staff.

If you want to be followed out to the parking lot for money you do not owe then this is the daycare for you! The director, Ms.Linda, is rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. She’s only there to collect money and has a nasty attitude towards everyone! You know she loves money when she doesn’t shut down the daycare in the summer due to no AC (picked up my son early multiple times because his teachers were concerned for heat exhaustion)and did not alert the daycare when covid or RSV was going around the daycare (which is mandatory to notify parents!). You know it’s bad when the staff dislikes her as well! The teachers there are loving and caring, just avoid ms Linda!

I am not one for reviews but this school is not a good school. The staff is very unpleasant, many mornings mrs.R had a nasty attitude, my son came home with an extremely rotten bottle full of mold and almost daily came home with his hair messed up from being pulled by someone and He had scratches several times that weren’t reported until i brought it to staffs attention. I permanently removed my child from this school after two months. Staff was not pleased and actually blocked my number from calling the school when I tried to retrieve his information. I paid out of pocket every week and they had no leniency even for $10. I have never had an experience like that. Would not recommend this school

I’m not sure about the other bad reviews, My experience from back in the day with Ms. Kim was Pleasent, she don’t take no ish from anybody and she made sure you know that, my son at the time was 3 years old and by the time he was 5 he was reading, till this day my son has been honor roll, parents need to discipline their kids, this place teaches the kids and prepare them for what’s coming next to your children’s life, a lot of the kids no and day are rude and if someone try to correct them it’s a problem. This place was the best for my son and I thank her and her staff, till this day! My son is 17 now and he loved this place! My youngest is now 3, I will be visiting her very soon so enroll my youngest!

The director, Ms. Kim, is extremely nasty. Her attitude and personality is highly disappointing, especially to be coming from someone in charge. My daughter was enrolled for about 5 months and in this time I’ve had several negative encounters with Ms. Kim. My daughter’s teachers, Ms. Sylvia and Ms. Favour, were very nice, caring and attentive. Unfortunately, I could not get past Ms. Kim’s unpleasant demeanor and removed my daughter from the institution. Save yourself the dissatisfaction.

My daughter has went here in Kindergarten and the structure here I think seems too be misleading to parents because of the misunderstanding of the foundation they bring. I was one of those parents to think they were being mean but throughout the school year, I was rather upset because never had I seen another adult basically correct my child. And nowadays these children need to be corrected if they misbehaved, or disrespected an adult etc. I rather my child have that structure of an obedient, god fearing child than a child waiting for disaster in their future. We cannot put the blame to these teachers whom are filling in the areas us as parents lack at home, which is old school"discipline"correction. You know.So as far as my experience here and many conversations with my daughter, she never said that anyone was mean to her or anything that I should be concerned with. That being said give credit to the teachers whom work hard to educate our children the correct way.

Do not send your children here! Owner Kim is very rude, condescending and very defensive if you bring any concerns to her! She will place the blame on you and take no accountability whatsoever. Do yourself and your child(ren) a favor and LOOK ELSEWHERE!! You’ll thank me later
