Worst internet service out there. HOA communities have us locked down to only using mediacom cant get any other service unless you move out of the communities.

3 Staff left me waiting while they were talking but once one decided to help, it went fast. I was returning equipment since it didn't work most of the time. I got tired of paying for service that we didn't receive. Internet service is awful with outages and equipment failures, equipment they installed.

This company does not understand customer service at all. By far the worst customer service out of any company I have dealt with. The continually waste your time. I urge you to steer clear if at all possible. Research your other options and make an informed decision!!!! STAY CLEAR!!! You will thank me!

My cable wire came down on the 18th of October and today is the 26th of October and they keep telling me that they're coming out today for the last 3 days and nobody's come out this is the worst company in the world

After being a customer for over 30 years , I've dropped mediacoms cable/internet for repeated service failures over the years . Now with new opinions available it was easy to say so long to their lack of customer service/support, ever increasing fees , and clear indifference towards the satisfaction of customers. I suggest looking elsewhere for your internet/cable .. don't bother replying to this review , for I could care less about what you may have to say mediacom rep ..

Probably the worst company that has ever been developed. Customer service is about as smart as a box of rocks. Subs are great because they’re not actually mediacom employees. Prices are ridiculous, actual internet is out every other day. They shouldn’t even be aloud to breathe the same air we breathe. All around ?

My daughter innernet been down for a week now people said that they are coming and no one shows up but they are quick to take out there money for it.they we sopost to be here Tuesday wensday and Thursday Friday and Saturday and today and no one has came to fixed it the man just told her that someone may be here tomorrow we will see.

My daughter internet went out last Monday and no one was here to put it back on she called and they said someone will be here and they never showed up and it been a week now but they are willing to take a payment for it

I ditched Mediacom as a TV provider due to their poor product delivery. Channels would go black for days on end, no sound for days, pixelation, very poor product. I retained mediacom for internet only as they were the only provider in Bethany with direct hardwired connections to each house. Now, Comcast has entered the market, so you'd think mediacom would step up their game ... but no. My mediacom internet drops completely at least a half dozen times a day. My cable line has been replaced three times. It disconnects all of my work websites, my zoom connections, all of my Alexa devices, my chromecast, my ring divides, my cameras, everything. I'm constantly resetting and reconnecting devices. If I could give mediacom zero stars I would.

Would never EVER recommend this company. The service sucks and I find it appalling that you cannot choose the internet provider. The internet service goes in and out is not reliable

They break down all the time . You loose internet . We just lost cable last night and they take 2 days to come out. Always something then when they come out the last guy didnt do it right . But still breaks down . I had cablevision in ny never had half the problems. Cant wait for a different provider to come into the area

Do a web search for Mediacom, Dagsboro DE. Website is listed, along with a phone #. Call the number and it takes you to a different provider. HORRIBLE customer service. Cant wait until Verizon gets in this area.

Here's our story.SAGA 1: Back in January 2023 we started service, 1st technician showed up and didn't know how to run fiber optic wires, so another technician needed to come out. Luckily, they showed up same day and got us up and running with a cable running across the yard. They stated a contractor was going to come out to bury the line.SAGA 2: The contractor eventually came out, buried the line and broke it. I found out we lost service during a virtual meeting that I was unexpectedly disconnected from. I called Mediacom, they said a technician would be over next day during a certain window (Like 12-6 or something). I waited, the window ended, and I called and they said the tech was running late... The tech finally showed up, and DID NOT know how to run/repair fiber optic wires. Then hours later almost 8pm his supervisor came out, made a temporary repair to restore our service. He stated: the line was going to be replaced and they would come and bury the line again...SAGA 3: See Picture. While out walking my dog yesterday I found the temporary line was buried. The box was left open, the large wire going into the earth is a hazard, white wires hanging out, and the small green wire plugged in at the top is being pulled down with no slack. I called Mediacom again, I asked them what's going on. They're sending a technician out again to take a look. I asked if the connections inside the box were waterproof and if I should attempt to close the box. They said they don't know and to leave it open. I hope water doesn't get into the box and cause issues/damage.UPDATE: SAGA 4: Someone from Spectrum (the contractor) came out and "checked" on the line. This "checking" of the line disconnected our service entirely.Was on the phone with Mediacom customer service for about an hour. They scheduled me for the next available appointment - in 6 days. WOOHOO.
