“As a buyer I had a lovely experience here. A great selection of everything. I could look all day and still have more to look at. Staff was friendly and YES they hold onto large bags at the register. So does every other antique shop.. leave your bag at home if you don’t like that.

“After doing a good deal of online shopping around, I wanted to see a few options in person. While the store didn't have everything I wanted to see, the in store experience was great. It was very low pressure, and we were able to just wander around. I ended up picking my sofa after I left, and the sales person was able to help me do the purchase remotely, at a price better than what was available online. Great experience all around.”

“I LOVE THIS PLACE!! There were so many things that I wanted to buy but not enough room in my car so I settled for an old telephone and some jewelry that wouldn’t be priced any cheaper anywhere else. There were so many different things to look at, I probably could’ve spent half a day here, but they were closing and I only had about 40 minutes to look through everything. Right now they have a Halloween section and really stick to keeping things updated. The woman with the dog at the front counter, was such a sweetheart, and I really wanted to get to know her better.”

“Quirky and eclectic. It’s so much so they even sell film here. Yes, photography geeks, they have film! What’s even stranger is the film prices were good. A friend ordered a 3 pack of Fuji Superia 400 35mm film for a really good price online. I found Lomography Metropolis and CineStill 800t in stock at this location and once again a really good price. I don’t use Fuji Instax film or disposable cameras but they have them too.”
“Flooring pricing are usually competitive. Labor for installation also, but look closely. I was quoted one price and then, after doing my comparison with other stores and ordered the flooring material, sthe install labor rate was increased almost a dollar per sqft. I understand I could have cancelled my order but time was of the essence. I prefer if they were upfront about the rate. They still may have gotten my business.”

I was there on Monday to grab some things that my daughter wanted over the weekend and the girl with the pink hair and girl with purple hair were so helpful! After stopping in over the weekend which was also a wonderful experience with my daughter I wanted to surprise her with some of the things she had wanted. The girls working were all so helpful, the mood was upbeat and every customer in line left with a smile. Whoever is running this store now, there’s a huge difference and it’s a good one.”

“Stopped by on our way out of town. I had promised my husband no shopping. Boy am I glad I broke my promise for The Saltbox. Lots of stuff arranged very attractively with best prices I have seen for similar items! I talked to a couple of customers and Jennifer who was working there and almost decided to move to town right there and then! Everyone was so nice.It is a wonderful place to pick up beautiful home decor, fun gifts, and trinkets. One of the customers I spoke with was picking up inexpensive things to hand out to random strangers she meets just to brighten their day. I learned about the coolest bags from SeaBags there. I know what my beachy friends are getting for Christmas! It will be worth the trip back to The Saltbox.I definitely recommend to anyone and everyone visit!”
